Whether a mom works or stays at home, there are always times when they need a babysitter. Especially when a child is young, they worry about finding the right person for the job. After all, they’re leaving their precious baby in the hands of another individual. So, they need someone reliable, protective, honest, and loving.
A viral story
Thankfully, moms in this position aren’t afraid to share their stories. And while some are heartbreaking, others are downright hilarious. That’s the case with one story that went viral almost immediately after it was shared on social media.
Claudia Sorhaindo
Claudia has a gorgeous little girl named Ava. When needing a babysitter, she knew exactly who to turn to…her niece. Although J’Ann was only 15 years old, she was one of 17 grandchildren and had done a lot of babysitting in her time. So, Claudia knew she could handle Ava while she ran errands.
Showing responsibility
And Claudia was right. J’Ann was perfect for the job. On the day she was needed, the niece showed up right on time. And to put her aunt at ease, she kept in contact with her. But J’Ann went one step further by providing her aunt with photos of her and baby Ava.
Feeling hungry
It all started with J’Ann getting hungry. Rather than just help herself to food, she first phoned her aunt to ask if she could make a sandwich. Of course, Claudia said yes. But then, what was she going to do with the baby?
The pants
You see, instead of putting little Ava in her crib or the playpen, J’Ann thought it would be better to keep her close. That’s when the niece came up with a hilariously brilliant idea. She literally placed the baby inside the front of her pants. That way, she could take her everywhere she went.
Downright hysterical
To show her aunt that everything was okay, she sent some photos. Claudia couldn’t contain herself. As soon as she saw what J’Ann had done, she burst out laughing. That’s when she decided to post the pictures online. This was by far one of the funniest things she’d ever seen.
Let me explain
Along with the photos, Claudia explained the situation. She wanted people to know that while her niece was babysitting, she reached out to ask if she could fix something to eat. But the niece was worried about leaving baby Ava in another room while she did so.
She had more to say
At the end of her explanation, Claudia pretty much summed it up. Sure, she knew that J’Ann would be fantastic with her baby but she had no idea to what extreme. And she certainly didn’t think this would happen. So, she closed by saying, “Lord send help, this was her solution. Like really. Creativity at its finest.”
The views keep growing
So far, the photos of J’Ann carrying baby Ava around in her pants have been viewed more than 305,000 times. And that’s on Facebook alone. People also complimented Claudia’s niece for her quick thinking. But there’s a backstory to all this, one that’s not so sweet.
Death of a child
Back in 2011, Claudia lost a three-month-old little girl they named Jenelle. After the baby passed away, this mom had an extremely difficult time as you can imagine. For that reason, she’s become overly protective of Ava.
When Claudia saw how well her niece was caring for her sweet baby, it touched her heart. For one thing, J’Ann was thoughtful enough to ask her aunt if she could make a sandwich. But more importantly, she didn’t want Ava out of her sight.
