When we talk about teenagers, we know that they are still young and many of them deal with common teenage problems. They become unpredictable because of some reason.
According to Raisingchildren.net.au, teens “show strong feelings and intense emotions at different times.”
Though it’s quite difficult to predict what’s on their mind and hearts, for sure they are kindhearted.
Just like these three teenagers from Acadia Parish, Louisiana.
They were biking one day without knowing that their characters would get tested on the way.
There’s something that caught their attention.
As they were biking around, a dog lying in the grass stole their attention. The three boys got intrigued as they noticed that it was not moving. They thought it was dead not until they saw that its eyes were moving.
They did not hesitate to stop by to check the condition of the poor pooch. It was clear to them that it needs immediate medical attention.
One of the teens knew what to do.
The boy contacted an animal rescue organization at around 2 pm to help them save the dog from its horrible condition. They waited for the team to come and did not leave the dog even a minute.
Wade, Tyler, and Brayden made sure that the dog was being looked after by them. They stayed beside him and even used their bikes as barricades to prevent people from driving too close to the canine.
People from Haseya’s New Beginning Animal Rescue came to the rescue.
The organization shared what they did when they rescued the dog via their Facebook post.
“We lifted the dog in a blanket like a hammock so we didn’t injure him more, and drove him back to the shelter.”
They also explained its condition when they got it. According to them, the dog “was on pain medication for the night, he filled his belly with some yummy food, and has a soft bed to lay in.”
It is a sigh of relief that the dog was saved from that fatal situation.
The teens’ act of kindness is indeed laudable.
They literally saved the dog’s life. They spotted it at that place at the right moment.
Even volunteer Katie Leblanc said, “If they wouldn’t have showed up, he probably wouldn’t have made it. It’s so crazy because they could’ve not been riding on that part of the road.”
As for the hero, Wade, and his friends, they are very joyous that they were able to save the dog.
“It made me feel happy because I knew that we saved the dog,” said Wade. “Because we gave the dog a second chance that he possibly could’ve never had,” Wade stated.
Wade was the temporary name that the people from the shelter gave the dog.
It was named after his savior who unhesitatingly did the extra mile to keep him away from that anguish.
But his real name is Taz and thankfully, his real owners found him after a week of searching for him.
It’s just amazing how the three boys stopped from having fun just to look after a dog. At their very young age, they were able to do a big thing that they will carry for a lifetime.
