What is cuter than a newborn baby? Few things, for sure. There is something so endearing about holding a little warm body that fills your heart all the way up. From the little fingers gripping your pinky, to the big eyes looking around and taking it all in, babies are a joy to watch and interact with.
For new parents, there are a lot of “firsts” to look out for.
Babies have many firsts that happen to them in the first few days, and even months, of life. One of the funniest ones is the first poop! Parents love to look out for that (even though everyone else probably thinks it’s pretty gross).
Walking and talking are the most famous of the “firsts.”
When a baby takes steps for the first time, parents lose their minds! There is also a battle between parents about whether their kid will say “mama” or “dada” first. With video being so prevalent now, the holy grail of firsts is getting all of this on video.
A lesser-known “first” comes pretty early on.
A babies first look-around is not as flashy or showy as walking or talking, but it might be the cutest thing to watch! It usually happens a few weeks in because the baby needs to have developed some neck muscles and be able to see the world around them.
One viral video might just prove that this is one of the cutest “first” you can see!
A mom decided she would film her newborn son and caught him acting as cute as possible on camera! Landon, the baby boy, is two weeks old in the video and is just as cute as a button.
Looking around, Landon looks like he was dropped into a dream world.
Who knows what babies are thinking, especially when they are as young as this. Landon is all swaddled up in this video, and while he is looking around, it is almost as if he is thinking, “where the heck am I?!”
With big eyes and pink hands, Landon is trying to get his grips on what he is experiencing.
After being in his mama for so long, this bright and strange new world seems to have all the stimulation that a baby could ask for. As Landon looks around, you can almost see him soaking up and processing all that he can. Babies often look pretty placid when you see them, but Landon seems to be really aware as he engages with his world!
With a final pat from mama, it looks like it is naptime (probably for the 8th time today!)
There is always something comforting about a mother’s touch! With a little pat on his swaddled body, little Landon is about to go away for another nap. With a little hand gripping a finger and a yawning baby, it’s no wonder this video has been seen over 2 million times. Babies and moms are always popular!
