What is your dream? It’s a question TikToker Charlie Rocket of The Dream Machine asks his soon-to-be beneficiaries.

Charlie started The Dream Machine to raise money and help other people’s dreams come true after his were about to be crushed by a brain tumor diagnosis that almost killed him.

He knows all too well how one can lose hope for a better tomorrow when they are facing a life-threatening disease, homelessness, or depression.

Charlie used his dream of becoming an athlete to lose 125 lbs., beat cancer, run four marathons, and complete an Ironman competition. That dream saved his life.

So, he dedicated his to making other people’s dreams come true to save their lives.

Charlie started an Army of Love to reach out into the community and find people who are down on their luck and in need of a miracle.

Celebrities like Steve Harvey, 2 Chainz, Oprah, Mike Tyson, and people like me and you donate to The Dream Machine so that its Army of Love can bless people in need with miracles to make their dreams come true.

Perri Saenz, who is a member of the Army of Love, came across Manny, a Starbucks barista when going through the drive-thru one day and asked him “What is your dream in life?”

Manny told her that he was trying to get a car. She asked how much it would cost and he told her that he would need about $1,000.

But Perri didn’t stop there. She wanted to know more about Manny.

“What’s something that you’re struggling with,” she asked him.

Manny explained that he is currently struggling with fighting off depression.

“Well, we might see you around,” she told him after their conversation ended.

Manny had no idea that his entire life was about to be changed.

Perri and her friend ran to the store to buy Manny a gift to lift his spirits.

They grabbed him a bouquet of beautiful red roses and a wooden chest they painted with yellow glitter and car stickers.

Inside the box was a red matchbox car and $1,000 so he could buy his very own car. But Manny’s reaction to the thoughtful gift was worth a lot more than anything inside that box.

“We were really inspired by your story,” Perri told Manny when she returned to the drive-thru. “We wanted to get you something.”

His jaw dropped when he saw that bouquet of roses coming toward him.

“Thank you so much. I never got flowers before,” he told her.

His face just lit up when he was passed that little yellow box. But when they told him that he now had the money to buy his own car, the tears started flowing.

“This morning actually, I had suicidal thoughts. And I didn’t feel like waking up,” Manny told her.

While that money and new car will help Manny be able to drive to and from work instead of taking the bus, the true gift of knowing that you are loved and that there are people out there who want to help you is priceless.

“This is a sign from God that you’re meant to be here. And that you’re so loved. Light will shine on your face again. I promise you,” Perri told Manny as she held his hand.

That really touched Manny’s heart as he thanked her. And Perri wasn’t lying. It’s likely Manny has a huge smile on his face now after The Dream Machine raised more than $38, 572 for him to buy a proper car.
