In a world where the internet is totally normalized, it’s easy to forget just how amazing people are. What do I mean by that? Well, every day we are flooded with pictures and videos from all around the world, all of which are trying to be the most popular and get our attention. With that bombardment of “viral” content, it’s easy to see things that used to astonish us and be completely unimpressed.

Still, even with the internet dampening our sense of wonder, there are occasional things that stand out.

An organization that has been cataloging the amazing things on this planet recently released a short clip that we think deserves some attention! Guinness World Records has been in the business of showing the best and brightest for a long time now, well before the internet was around.

They are in their 67th year of publication and have started posting things on YouTube to keep up with the times.

Guinness World Records, known from its inception in 1955 until 1999 as The Guinness Book of Records and in previous United States editions as The Guinness Book of World Records, is a reference book published annually, listing world records both of human achievements and the extremes of the natural world. – Wikipedia

Ready to see something amazing? They recently brought together two of the most record-breaking men who we think will impress anyone. The two men hold the records for height, only in different directions!

Sultan Kösen and Chandra Bahadur Dangi are the tallest and shortest men in the world, respectively.

Seeing them on their own is a sight in itself, but together? It’s like something out of a fantasy film! Sultan is from Turkey and held the record for tallest man, coming in at a cool 8ft 2.8 inches tall. As you could guess, he also held the record for widest hand span, among others.

On the literal other end of the spectrum, we have Chandra.

Chandra measures only 21.5 inches tall and is the shortest man to ever be recorded. Sadly, Chandra passed away back in 2015, but before then, he was able to hang out with Sultan while they were both in London for the Guinness World Records Day.

In a newly released video, we can see the two hanging out together.

Since its release, it’s garnered over 8 million views! At first, you think that the shortest man is the guy we see standing next to Sultan. Soon, you realize that the man you see is just a regular sized guy! That’s how tall Sultan is!

When Chandra is seen, it’s almost comical how different the height is.

Both men are clearly in good spirits and don’t feel insecure about being around each other. They can be seen laughing and talking while they make their appearances! At one point, Sultan bends down to hold Chandra’s hand and it’s a truly wonderful moment.

Despite being so different, they can find common ground.

With a final handshake, we see the final scene recorded of the two together. There won’t be another video like this since Chandra has passed, but we are happy to be able to see it now!
