Acts of Kindness

Kind truck driver tows family to gas station and simply asks them to 'pay it forward'

April 1st, 2021

What would you do when you find a stopped car on the side of the road?

Would you stop and see if they needed help? Or would you go on your way and hope someone else stops to help them?

This particular family was on their way home when they ran out of gas.

Running out of options, they didn’t know what to do until a kind man helped them out. They were parked on the side of the freeway, where cars and vehicles sped by one after the other.

They were about to lose hope when an 18-wheeler truck backed up in front of them.

Without hesitation, the driver, Kevin, hooked up their car to his truck. He pulled them up to the nearest gas station so they can fill up their tank. And, not only that, Kevin even paid for their gas!

Wow, what a guy! Who knew guys like Kevin still exist?

And we’re glad @bri.niki got all of this on video. People like Kevin need to be celebrated. And people need to see these good acts to inspire and motivate them to help others as well.

And when they tried to pay him back, Kevin refused and wouldn’t take anything from them. He just encouraged them to pay it forward.

Are you serious? Wow. There really aren’t a lot of people like Kevin.

Kevin left with an assurance that Brianna’s family will be paying it forward.

“Truck drivers go weeks without seeing their family so to see y’all stranded, he felt the need to help another one,” Kvng David said.

“Acts of kindness. Do something for someone. You don’t know what they could be going through. It will brighten your day as well,” user884984 added.

“Amen, good people, good Americans. We all just owe it to ourselves to be better people, paying it forward is just amazing way to do so,” grandpaduty shared.

The video had almost 400,000 likes, more than 8,000 comments, and almost 3,000 shares.

People all over the world are always looking for kind people. There was even one commenter who said kind people are all around us.

That’s true and we need to celebrate them. We need to show them off to the world, instead of the ones who destroy the world.

We wonder how this family has paid Kevin’s good deed forward. How have they helped others after this fortunate act?

Did they also encourage the other people to pay it forward?

What do you think about Kevin’s good deed? What would you do in this situation? Will you do the same thing he did?

Will you also ask the people you help to pay it forward?
