Grandparents are just the best. When you’re a child, they’re usually the “fun ones” who break the rules when it comes to sugary snacks and bedtimes. There are also a million other reasons why we adore our grandparents – so it’s not surprising that many bonds stay strong throughout adulthood.
One Florida man has a very special relationship with his 87-year-old grandma. They’re so close in fact, that the internet has fallen in love with the pair and all the videos they create. But there’s one video, in particular, that’s melting hearts into puddles.
Meet Matthew Stewart and Grandma Bobbe. Or, just GB for short.
Matt has over 2.2 million followers on TikTok where he posts videos of GB and their time together. Not only is she sweet as anything, but she also has a hilarious and sassy side as well!
One video that went viral shows GB sitting in Matt’s car. She tries to give him gas money for driving her around, yet, he refuses. Well, that doesn’t fly with GB!
In the clip, she adorably lets her potty-mouth open while arguing with him to accept the money. The scene is comical and it also gives a glimpse into their loving relationship.
If you’re in need of a mood-booster, their videos can turn a frown upside down.
GB is a free-spirited granny who likes to dance, enjoys a good dirty joke, and having a yummy adult beverage. She seems like tons of fun to be around – and it’s apparent that she’s well cared for by her grandson Matt.
One video that has the internet saying “aww” is captioned “There’s nothing like a grandmother’s love.”
Matt is filming while his grandma cuddles up to him. He asks her the question, “You know I love you, right?”
GB has the sweetest response for Matt. She tells him:
“I love you too, you don’t know how much. Look, I could not love you any more… Matt, you’re like my own son!”
The woman’s heart is so full for her grandson that she begins to cry.
Once Matt notices her tears, he asks, “Why are you cryin’?” GB tells him:
“I’m crying because I love you so much and I’m so happy being around you and being with you…”

Listening to GB and watching her get emotional has Matt responding, “You’re going to make me cry.” Us too, Matt. Us too.
GB explains:
“It’s just tears of happiness of being with you and around you, and letting me be part of your life.”
The clip ends with them saying “I love you,” followed by a kiss on the cheek.
While there are numerous funny videos on Matt’s social media accounts, this is one that’s pure sweetness. Instagram users have left comments like, “Who’s cuttin’ onions in my face? 🥺❤️” and “Restoring my faith in humanity.”
People are touched by Matt and GB’s relationship, and it makes them think of their own grandparents. Someone else wrote:
