As the saying goes, dogs are man’s best friend. These adorable creatures are known for being loyal, loving, and friendly. Although they are great in building solid relationships with humans, they can make lasting friendships with other dogs too.
May it be humans or dogs, these furry friends sure know how to keep profound relationships for the rest of their lives. Others are even lucky enough to meet their life-long pals the moment they start their lives.
This golden retriever and his tiny puppy buddy is a good case in point.
When the pooch first met his soon-to-be bestie, he was quite clueless about it.
This golden retriever was totally unsure of what to do with this little ball of fur right in front of him. At the same time, the tiny black puppy was just about to start living its own life. They may be coming from different stages of their lives but they are both on the starting line of their journey being together.
He sniffs the mysterious little creature and figured it is a tiny baby dog.
Feeling the pressure of being the elder, the goldie takes responsibility by trying to entertain the black pup. He tries to play a game of take-the-shoe with it but to no avail since the little pooch is still starting to learn how to leave his box. Having the little pup takes its baby steps literally, the games must be put off for now.
Eventually, the puppy is finally on its own feet and drinking!
He is no longer the fragile tiny baby he used to be as he drinks milk out of a wee dish with great vigor. Of course, his gentle giant friend does the same alongside with him to keep him company at the milk bar.
The next thing you know is they are already playing together!
Time really flies so fast. It is really amusing to witness how puppies grow. And now, the table has turned. The little black pooch is finally taking over and with overflowing energy, he keeps running and fooling around the retriever.
In fact, the little one is so active that it is too much to handle for the golden retriever.
You can tell that the golden retriever just wants to spend some peaceful time alone but the little pup wouldn’t let him. The small ball of energy keeps running around the retriever and there’s nothing he can do but wait for it to burn out.
And when it does, it’s just as adorable!
They do almost everything together, even resting. Watching these two snuggled up together is just too much to handle! Their friendship has really come a long way.
And even though they have become inseparable, they make their relationship exciting by having some friendly competition.
One of their most favorite games is tug-of-war! The golden retriever must be so glad that the unfamiliar ball of fur in that box turned into his best friend and playmate! He must be having a great time with the company of his dog parents. But now that he has finally met his best buddy, he is definitely having the time of his life. They must be grateful for each other.
