The bond that many of us dog owners have with our dogs is quite unexplainable. Often times, our dogs become more than just our furry, little pals, they become a member of the family. And sometimes, when you haven’t seen family in a while, you can hardly contain your excitement.
In the delightful video, seen below, a dog named Dixie is finally reunited with her owner, Vincent, after a long three months apart. As a marine, Vincent was summoned to attend boot camp training in Parris Island, causing a distance between the pair.
Unable to spend quality time together for days on end, the duo was undoubtedly over the moon when they finally reunited.
In the exciting reunion below, captured earlier this year by Vincent’s sister in Lapeer County, Michigan, you can undeniably feel the love between these two.
The pair could hardly contain themselves, with Dixie giving her owner a boatload of hugs and kisses. Vincent was ecstatic as well, laughing and adoring the slobbered kisses left by Dixie. As seen, Dixie repeatedly gives her owner warm, loving embraces and she, literally, jumps for joy.
This sweet unification demonstrates that dogs are true companions, and they never turn down the opportunity to show their love for others in return.
