Thomas and Nathan Brose are two brothers who share a very special morning routine.

One that has inspired everyone at McAnnulty Elementary School in Pittsburgh.

Nathan is in kindergarten, and is 19 months younger than big brother Thomas, who is a first grader.

Young Nathan was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder at the age of 3, according to the boys’ mother, Jill Brose.

“We wondered how their relationship would be — Thomas is Nathan’s favorite person in the world,” Brose shared. “It’s wonderful to see the love between them.”

These boys are so sweet!

But big brother Thomas loves teaching Nathan and helping out his younger brother in every way he can.

He loves helping him so much that he walks Nathan to his kindergarten classroom every morning.

Isn’t that cute?

Nathan had a para-aide walking with him originally but Thomas wanted to take charge of him.

Amy Dempsey is Nathan’s paraprofessional and she says she saw the immediate change when the brothers walked together.

How many big brothers are this thoughtful?

Fusco does spend a lot of time in Nathan’s classroom. He says the boy always laughs and that he is the “sweetest, most beautiful boy inside and out and a sweet soul. Seeing Thomas and Nathan together is just wonderful.”

Thomas meanwhile said he feels “good and excited” whenever he helps his brother walk to the classroom every day.

He even hangs up his brother’s coat and helps take his lunchbox.

A brother’s love is severely underrated nowadays.

“It feels good inside, and it makes others feel happy,” Thomas said.

Thomas loves Nathan’s classroom anyway so he doesn’t mind the walk.

He says it “looks so nice.”

Nathan also shared that he loves to look at the artwork on the walls with his big brother.

And when the time comes for him to leave for first grade every morning, Thomas makes it a point to tell Nathan to have a great day.

Really, these boys are too much!

And how about when they’re not in school?

The brothers are inseparable. They make obstacle courses, wrestle, and play “Just Dance” with their little sister Ashlynn on their Nintendo Switch.

“Thomas loves teaching his brother new games and Nathan lights up when playing with his brother,” Brose said.

Mama must be so proud of her kids.

This time, us adults could learn a thing or two from Thomas and Nathan.

As sweet and as special as these brothers are, they’re still pretty much like other children.

Thomas is just a super thoughtful and protective big brother, and Nathan can count himself lucky to have one.
