What’s on your bucket list?
Have you ever thought of something you’ve always wanted to do but never got around to doing it?
Well, Barbara Morris, a great-grandmother from Wigan, showed people that you’re never too old to tick off something you’ve always liked to do.
Morris had a simple wish as she turned 90 years old.
Barbara Morris, a former florist, is and motorcycle enthusiast.
She got her license in the 1950s and owned her first bike, a Royal Enfield 350, when she was only 19.
She rode her little motorbike around town and through college.
It was the thrill of going fast and going anywhere you want whenever you want.
While a woman biker was highly unusual back then, Morris followed her heart, and soon enough, she passed on her passion for bikes to her three children.
As a woman in her 90s, Barbara thought her days of riding were behind her.
However, when she joked with her son Martin that she wanted to ride a powerful Harley Davidson if she reached 90, she didn’t know that her family was taking notes.

She said she had never been on one, so her family decided to do something about it.

She was surprised when a local biker group surrounded her when she stepped onto the street.
Then, they revealed a Harley Davidson “trike” and asked if she’d like to go to the pub with it.
An excited and delighted Morris said she felt like a young woman again.
Morris’s granddaughter, Kirsty Harvey, said her great-grandmother was a “daredevil.” She was very different from how women were perceived back in her day.
Harvey organized the surprise with the help of the members of the North West Chapter of the Widows Sons.
The group drove to Ambleside Bank Residential Home in Wigan with 13 other riders.
Morris said she felt 21 again when she rode a pillion seven miles to the White Lion pub.
She has always thought that a Harley Davidson was a nice bike to look and she couldn’t even believe she would ride one, especially in her 90s.
“We all met there, and two of the nursing staff led her outside because she’s not very mobile,” her granddaughter said.
“She needs a lot of help. She can’t see very well, so they had to take her right up to the bike, and when she realized what it was, her face was just a picture.”
Barbara’s story shows that it’s never too late to fulfill your dreams.
She may be old, and she might not travel as much as she used to, but that doesn’t mean she can’t have fun occasionally.
It only shows that age is just a number and what matters is the heart that keeps on doing.
So what’s on your bucket list?
What have you always wanted to do but haven’t had the chance to do it yet?
Maybe it’s time to take a cue from Morris and make it happen.
