No matter how you hide it, we all have our fair share of embarrassing pictures. Whether it be from our childhood when mom had our photo taken from a photo studio or that time when we’ve had too much to drink at a party, most of us still hang on to these photos for several reasons.

Recently, a couple of brave souls shared their most embarrassing and funny photos on Reddit. We managed to grab some of the best and curated a quick list of the funniest, cringe-worthy photos that you definitely would enjoy!

1. Eyebrow disaster

When we were young, we often do things that we think are cool or looks good – only to look back years later and realize that it was a total disaster. This redditor might have been proud of her overly-shaven brows at the time but not anymore, saying that she’s learned never to use a razor on her brows ever again.

2. Classic Studio Photo

Her mom definitely made her wear this entire look. From the flower-like cloth on top of her head down to her pink turtleneck and vest – this ensemble is a legit, classic 90’s look. She probably tried to do a roaring face on this photo just like the cats and dogs on her vest.

3. So much going on in here

I mean, where do we even start? His hair kinda looks like when Justin Timberlake tried to dye his hair and failed miserably. His chain choker looks really tight but his shirt is on a totally different level. We don’t know what happened on picture day, but it seems that he was having a whole lot of fun with that beaming smile.

4. She bangs

Ever had those weird beliefs when you were a child? This young girl definitely had one at the time due to a lack of understanding of hair growth. She thought that people who had no bangs had cut them off, not grown them out.

5. Twilight fans

Remember when Twilight was a huge thing back then? Everybody was talking about it at school as you and your friends argue who’s the perfect match for Bella. These young ladies loved the franchise so much that they had cutouts of some of the characters at a birthday party.

6. Resume

This whole look is undeniably the early 2000’s personified. From the spiky hair to the wristband and torn-up jeans this guy thought he could easily land a job by including his whole body picture on his resume. He might have a chance to get a job if he applied to Abercrombie & Fitch though.

7. The real Slim Shady

We often get easily influenced by celebrities or musicians that we idolize to the point that we also copy their looks. This guy clearly likes Eminem so much that he copied his signature blonde hair with matching oversized shirts and neck chain.

8. Emo phase

The early 2000s probably has the most extreme fashion sense in history. The emo scene was huge back then wherein kids were all wearing black, dying their hair rainbow colors, and of course who can forget the thick, black eyeliner? This photo of a young girl in her emo phase is the epitome of this music genre.

9. Little devil

This photo is definitely cringe-worthy. It’s really funny how it gets more confusing the longer you look at it. This young man has an angelic, kind face combined with a business suit to finish off the look. Then you look into his hair and you see those horns. No matter what his thing was, looks like he was genuinely happy about it during that time.

10. Too much leather

It’s really hard to tell what’s going on in here. We don’t know if he has worn leather pants over his jeans or if it’s been customized to look that way. One thing’s for sure though, this guy clearly loved his leather.

11. Business at the front, party at the back

This kind of hairstyle was another must-have look for emo kids back then. Seems that he wanted to be more subtle with the color though but he compensated for the look by cutting his hair at the back and probably slathered it with some hair gel to achieve the spikes.

12. This is so lame

Growing up as teens, most of us didn’t want anything that has to do with our parents. We just wanted to hang out with friends and stay in our room when we’re at home. These two obviously showed their attitude with what it seems like a forced family road trip. Looks like the girl can’t wait to go back home and watch ‘Mean Girls’ while her brother just wants to practice with his band.
