As they said, revenge is best served cold.
But what they didn’t add is it’s even better if there’s a dump truck somehow involved in the plan.
This is how Stuart Baldwin’s revenge unfolded.
The farmer from Wigan just got tired of his neighbor’s unruly attitude, so much so that he took matters into his own hands.
Baldwin, a livestock farmer, just got tired of becoming the receiving end of someone’s rubbish.
Illegal dumpers or flytippers, as they call it across the pond, have been plaguing his farm for the longest time.
He shared to the Daily Mail that his property was constantly targeted.
People dump on his property around 25 times every year.
The trash includes “all sorts of things,” including tires.
Who would even feel good when people treat your property like a local landfill?
That’s when Baldwin decided to install cameras in his property.
The trigger point was a mountain of tires that appeared on his farm “overnight.”
Baldwin then consulted the cameras and with the help of his daughter, they were able to trace the crime back to a local man – a neighbor they actually know.
Despite the repeated disrespect, Baldwin chose a much more diplomatic path.
He approached the neighbor and told him what happened. The neighbor offered an excuse and told Baldwin that he was going to haul it off his farm.
It was supposed to end without further issues. But just like any good story, it didn’t.
The deadline has passed and the neighbor didn’t go back to the farm to pick up the mountain of tires. It pushed Baldwin to do something much more drastic.
Unfortunately for the neighbor, Baldwin, and his family owns a recycling company.
There’s one thing that SED Services Ltd., the family’s business, has for his plan to succeed – a dump truck.
In a video, Baldwin showed how he concluded the whole incident.
A blue dump truck was parked in front of the neighbor’s house.
Then, the back doors were opened where it churned out an almost never-ending number of discarded tires.
They filled the neighbor’s doorstep with the same tires he had dumped into Baldwin’s farm.
If the neighbor can’t haul it out, Baldwin can always deliver it to them.
“Revenge is best served cold, isn’t it? I got sick of it so I thought I would do a bit back,” Baldwin told the Daily Mail.
Baldwin said that flytipping is a big problem in their community.
“You get people like this – they’re vermin. People in the community have called me a legend and a hero. Hopefully, people will think twice now about dumping on our land,” he told the local news outlet.
The video quickly went viral, reaching over 4.5 million views.
His daughter also clarified that they had dumped the tires in a way that wouldn’t cause damage but would help get their point across.
The local news outlet tried to reach out to the property’s owner for a comment but the woman who answered the door said that the culprit no longer lived there.
