In the police investigation, it was found out that the driver left the hospital’s security vehicle and switched into a Lexus. What shocked the police was that witnesses shared that they did not only see one person but two individuals in the car.

Later on, it was found that the two persons in the Lexus are Crystal Beatrice Walston, 36, and her five-year-old daughter, Amani Jade Bruce.

The older woman in the car was Crystal, and she abducted her own daughter, Amani, from their home on Rosedown Drive in Cary.

This shocking development had the police moving even fiercer and faster, determined to save the young victim. An Amber alert was released and people in the surrounding area were notified of the missing vehicle.

Photos of the Lexus were circulated across the major roads and anywhere people can see and be informed of the vehicle sought after by the cops.

The next morning, Angela Coffey was on her way to bring her kids to their grandmother’s house when she saw the Amber alert and the photo of the missing vehicle.

She was on her way to work and was driving along I-40 when she saw the vehicle’s photo and it was exactly the car right in front of her. She could not believe it at first.

When she realized she could do something to help the kid, she decided to do what was right.

Angela called 911 and informed them of her location and about the car that the police were looking for. She tailed the Lexus for about 30 minutes, all the while staying on the phone to help the authorities in catching the abductor.

As a mom of two kids, a five-year-old and a one-year-old, Angela shared that helping the kid was a must for her.

She expressed her hope that if this happened to her child, someone would also do the same thing. Eventually, the Lexus was found by the cops and they rescued young Amani from the clutches of her abductor.

A video was also shared showing how the cops extracted the child from the vehicle and eventually arrested the woman who committed the crime.
