“I NEED MORE BEER!!”

That’s exactly what this cheeky handwritten sign that was held up by a quarantined homeowner said.

Someone was obviously in dire need of a fix, but you may actually find it hard to believe who penned this hilarious note!

Could a bunch of frat boys with a dry keg be behind this prank? Under normal circumstances, that would be a good guess. Except, schools are closed and students have been sent home until further notice.

Perhaps New York City’s infamous Pizza Rat is the culprit. After all, even Pizza Rat needs an apéritif to sip on while he’s stuck at home doing his part to fatten up his curves.

While all those theories are good, the identity of this beer-guzzling fiend might actually surprise you. She’s actually a cute little old lady who looks like everyone’s grandma!

Even though she looks like the kind of gal who would tinker around with a dainty glass of wine, this woman would rather have a warm brewski with her supper.

“You know what, beer has vitamins in it, it’s good for you, as long as you don’t overdo it.”

Think beer is bad for you? Think again! According to 93-year-old Olive Veronesi of Seminole, Pennsylvania, beer has plenty of vitamins. That’s why she always devours a can of Coors Light every single night – it’s like liquid medicine.

And this good-natured gal needs all the vitamins she can get to help boost her immunity during this crisis!

In Olive’s world, beer is an essential item.

Poor Olive has been hunkering down at home just like the rest of us, but thankfully she can still maintain a sense of humor about it.

When she was down to the last few cans of her favorite health tonic, she decided to put a funny spin on the situation. After a relative posted a picture of her holding up the lighthearted sign, it was shared over 5 million times on social media.

That means there are at least 5 million people out there who know the pain and torture of not being able to make a beer run!

The photo even caught the attention of Molson Coors, the company behind Olive’s favorite adult fizzy drink. And they couldn’t have asked for a better spokesperson for their brand! A representative told CNN:

“When we saw Olive’s message, we knew we had to jump at the chance to not only connect with someone who brought a smile to our faces during this pandemic, but also gave us a special opportunity to say thanks for being a Coors Light fan.”

Mark Linder, GM of Coors, personally delivered reinforcements right to Olive’s doorstep. As soon as he and an associate arrived with 10 cases of beer, the woman wasted no time in cracking open a can right on her porch!

An updated photo now shows Olive holding up a sign with a very different message. Instead of needing more beer, she’s “GOT MORE BEER!”

But, that wasn’t the end of the kindhearted gesture on the part of Molson Coors. They vowed to stop by with more beer anytime she’s about to run out.

If Olive sticks to her once-a-day liquid vitamin policy, that won’t be for a while. But we have a sneaky feeling these guys may be back sooner rather than later!
