When you do the same job day after day it can get a little boring, right?

But finding something new and cool about your job can change your whole day around, for better or worse.

Luckily for one Chicago weatherman, his discovery brought nothing but joy to him and the rest of his team.

Greg Dutra has been with the ABC7 Chicago News station since September of 2019.

He works as the weekend morning weatherman and does his best to help his community plan their weekends according to the weather.

Greg thought he knew everything he needed to know about the job, until he found something new that is.

As he gave his live report about what his fellow citizens should expect in the coming days, he accidentally touched the display screen with his finger.

That is when he learned something no one else in the station knew anything about… the screen moves.

“Oh, I can move the map, I didn’t know I could do that. No way!”

He was visibly excited as he realized what he had just discovered, the smile on his face was huge.

One of the other anchors of the show was also astonished and he wanted to try it out for himself.

The other anchor snuck behind Greg and also tried his hand at moving the map.

Both men were overjoyed with their new discovery and the rest of the news crew could be heard commenting excitedly on it as well.

Not only could Greg now move the map around, but he could also zoom in and out.

“Oh, man! It’s a great day, it’s a great day!” Greg proclaimed with a huge smile on his face.

Before long he had found another feature of the touch screen… he could tilt it!

His excitement was palpable as he got back on the topic of weather and it was clear he was going to have a great time testing all the features it could do as soon as he was off camera.
