There are many reasons to smile.

That is so true. However, because of what’s going on with our respective lives, we tend to forget these reasons. No matter how much we want to be happy, sometimes life just throws things that can be too much to handle.

On the other hand, I hope that many people will still let those good reasons prevail because smiling has a huge role in our lives. It is so powerful that it can affect other people.

He is Burreaux and he became an internet sensation because of his lovely smiles. Just like many of us, his life isn’t perfect too. In fact, he has been through a lot.

Along with his two siblings, Joe and O, they were spotted by Courtney Wingate, the director of the Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana, when they were 8 weeks old.

Wingate had to call volunteer Sarrah Walton, the one who picked up the three labs from animal control and brought them to Humane Society. She was also the mastermind behind the three pups’ cool names that are after the names of the quarterback and coach of the Louisiana State University football team.

If not for these two ladies, the three pups would have been put to sleep. They also aimed to find them new homes and families.

Burreaux is in a video with more than 700,000 views!

In that 12-second clip, you will see his lovely smiles which he did not hesitate to show to everyone.

Walton also noticed this beautiful thing about Burreaux. Every time a person talks to him in a high-pitched voice, he would start grinning.

In an interview with The DoDo, Walton shared more about it.

“It’s whenever you’re talking real sweet to him … he gets this smile like he wants something,” she said, “like he’s telling you, ‘Come pet me, come love me.’”

Though his brother Joe was the first one to be adopted, the volunteers showed the public the reasons why they should foster him and that is through his adorable smiles.

They even captioned the video with, “Burreaux begging for attention. Oh and this smiler still needs a home”

They indeed succeeded. Aside from the thousands of views, Burreaux’s video has also gained sweet comments from many people.

All of them were hoping that he would be able to find the people who would take care of him forever.

“I just wanted to make sure you got a good home,” one commenter wrote.

There were also some who expressed their interest in adopting him. He has been receiving so much love!

The good news…

On March 1, HSNWLA confirmed that Burreaux has been adopted.

Yup, it did not take that long for him to find his new home. This family is blessed as they would get to see his smiles every day. Of course, Burreaux is fortunate too because he already found his new family. For sure, many people are happy for him and that includes me!

His smiles as well as his loving personality indeed radiate and bring us so much delight.
