Unfortunately, many veterans return to civilian life just to find that life can also be rough outside of the military.

This was the case for this Air Force veteran, who was left with no furniture after enduring chemotherapy.

Thankfully, a silver lining in the form of strangers came to save the day and changed this man’s life.

It was a tearful moment.

The brave vet had been undergoing chemotherapy but had recently decided to halt the treatment, and just enjoy the rest of his time in the house of his dreams.

But he had no furniture.

Ron stopped by the Good Will and picked out a recliner that he wanted for his new house, but he had no way of getting it home.

A stranger took notice.

That’s when a kind stranger heard about Ron’s dilemma and posted to Facebook, asking for people to also help furnish his apartment

A stranger named Laura decided to turn to social media not just to get Ron’s recliner to his new house, but also to find a way to try and furnish his apartment.

A blessing he never saw coming.

It was a blessing the ailing veteran didn’t see coming, but one that would completely change his quality of life.

The Uhaul was packed to the brim with everything from televisions and DVDs, tables, chairs, a couch, and much more.

The generous strangers even went as far as stocking the veteran’s cupboards with food.
