We’ve all had our cringe-worthy days, but these 12 people REALLY got the short end of the stick from the universe.
While we don’t like to laugh at those less fortunate, we couldn’t help but at least chuckle at some (but certainly not all) of these photos. Others just elicited a surprised “Wow, that REALLY sucks” from us.
1. Bad Timing
Losing your fingers in a work-related accident really sucks. However, adding insult to injury was the fact that on the same day that the employee lost his fingers, the new guitar that he ordered showed up in the mail. Of course, he attempted to play the guitar anyway.
2. Massive Detour
Well, this just made us laugh, and we do feel guilty about it. Due to a small rockslide, this driver’s trip started as a short drive and turned into a several-hundred-mile detour. It happened near the White River National Forest in Colorado. The driver was forced to reroute all the way around.
3. The short end of the stick
First, the man dropped his sandwich in the parking lot on his way home from work. Then, he decided to cook some pasta and it spilled everywhere. The handle broke off the pot while he was holding it. It was one of those nights where nothing seemed to go right!
4. Delivery Confirmation
This person was sent a photo of their food by the restaurant delivery service. It was supposed to show proof of delivery. However, it simply showed all of their food dumped on the ground.
5. DIY Installation
This homeowner decided to be clever and install their new microwave alone without professional assistance. It saved them $150. However, it also resulted in a smashed oven below the new appliance.
6. Face Of Crime
When you sell your image to a stock photography company, just be careful. You never know what they could do with it. They might end up using your face in a sex offender warning on the side of a bus. That’s exactly what happened to this aspiring actor!
7. Robots aren’t taking this job
This person’s Roomba ran over their puppy’s poop in the bathroom. The machine then proceeded to spread it all around the entire home. It definitely didn’t achieve its intended function of cleaning that day…
8. Lost Passport
It looks like someone left their passport in the airport bathroom. In addition, the ticket shows that the flight is already long gone. It’s a traveler’s worst nightmare.
9. To whom it may concern
We wonder if a note like this would actually stop a tow truck driver from doing their job. Somehow, we think they wouldn’t pay it any attention. We feel the woman’s pain though!
10. Celebrity Sighting
This kid spotted his favorite soccer player walking down the street and started chasing after him. He was so excited, then, seconds later, he ran into a lamp post. Luckily, he was still able to get the picture.
11. Nazi Hospital
Lightbulbs in signs burn out from time to time. It happens. However, what happened at this hospital was definitely unfortunate, that’s for sure.
12. Construction In Progress
All “non-life-sustaining” businesses in this area were recently closed by the governor due to the pandemic. Unfortunately, that also meant that the only bathroom this guy has in his home was left unfinished. Now, he has to poop in a bucket until the regulations are lifted.
