Choosing the name for your child is both exciting and puzzling at the same time.

You want to give your kid a great name, and you want it to be unique. At the same time, you don’t want it to be too unique that your kid would end up having a hard time writing it.

Of course, we don’t want to choose common names, right?

Did you ever encounter a situation where someone made a mistake with your name? Well, other than Starbucks, of course!

Twitter user Marcus Vance shared a tweet last year about a problem that he encountered with his name. From there, many Twitter users also shared their own experiences, and the post went viral!

The Tweet that started it all

Sometimes we are just not in the mood to explain, especially when the answer to the question is pretty obvious.

This is where the viral tweet began. Marcus introduced himself to someone who immediately thought that his nickname was “Mark”.

Marcus’s answer was so straightforward, and we love it!

Sometimes, a name can really be short, like Dee’s name.

It’s not a nickname or a game where you guess how it’s spelled.

It’s just plain Dee.
