English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has gained popularity after giving the world of pop music his unique tastes. Millions of people began to love him and his music, and it didn’t take long for him to become one of the biggest names in Pop music. In 2017, he released his third studio album, Divide (÷), raking up popularity even more. There’s a lot of great songs in the album, but one of them tugged the world’s heartstring, and it’s the song, “Perfect.”
“Perfect” had people sing this in many occasions, also in multiple languages
May it is a romantic confession, a dinner date, or a wedding, this song is more than “perfect” for each occasion. People then began translating the song into other languages, and soon enough, almost the whole world knows the song.
These young buskers brought perfection in Grafton street
It was a cold afternoon at Grafton Street in Dublin, Ireland when these two decided to make it warmer with their music. One of them is Allie Sherlock, a young amazing Irish busker that gained quite popularity on the internet.
In fact, she has amassed over 4.56 million subscribers on her YouTube channel. Beside Allie is her colleague on the guitar, Philly Campbell. They decided to perform a familiar Ed Sheeran hit with their unique acoustic version of it.
Despite the cold, people still stopped by to listen to Allie’s enchanting voice
The moment Allie started singing, people who were rushing to go home, decided to stop by and listen to the busker’s performance. Even passersby couldn’t help but smile when they hear Allie’s wonderful voice. She has a powerful voice, and her falsetto is just a beautiful addition to it. Passersby became addicted to their performance, and so a lot decided to stay for the show.
They weren’t expecting what happened next
After Allie sang the first verse and chorus of the song, a guy suddenly appeared out of nowhere. He’s another of Allie’s colleagues, Cuan Durkin, and he’s also a busker in Dublin. Durkin took the performance from there with an unexpected twist.
As soon as it transitioned to the second verse, Durkin suddenly sang the song in Italian. People were surprised, but they immediately fell in love with his deep opera-like voice. The spontaneity of this unexpected performance warmed up the whole street.
Dublin is lucky to have these two talented singers
The 17-year old Cuan Durkin and the 16-year old Allie Sherlock are making their living by busking on the streets of Dublin. Judging from this video, they could be close friends as well. The way that Allie didn’t hesitate to share the stage at the spur of the moment is proof enough that they are. Furthermore, they even collaborate and perform on the same street together. It’s really a treat to see these two people sing at the same time, they’re both really talented singers.
The world needs to see this, and it would be an honor to them if Ed Sheeran does too. If you want to see more of Allie and Durkin’s performances, make sure to drop by Allie’s YouTube channel, and don’t forget to spread their wholesome music.
