If you need a little bit more spice this holiday season, the lumberjacks at Peterson Tree Care in Elk Ridge, Utah, will have you feeling all kinds of holiday cheer. In a hilarious video posted on TikTok, the guys from Peterson Tree Care dance their way into our hearts. The video is captioned, “It’s almost time to come to elk ridge Utah to get your Christmas tree from Peterson Trees.” I don’t think they will have any problems selling trees this year.

Derek Peterson, Owner of Peterson Tree Care was shocked at the video’s popularity. After their holiday tree supply for 2020 sold out in just 11 days, Peterson wanted to do something to thank his customers. “I happen to just be driving down the road and that song came on and I thought, we oughta do a dance to that. I thought it’d be funny…I didn’t think it’d be that funny.” – Peterson told Fox 13.
If you dance, they will come.
From hip-swinging to log chopping, these manly men are making us laugh with their very clever, one-of-a-kind advertising. “We’ve had people saying we’re gonna get a bus, just a lot of ladies are gonna come out and get a tree, they have a fake tree but they want real trees…It’s just kinda fun having relationships with people and seeing how far they travel and stuff like that. We kinda try to make it a magical moment.” – Peterson told Fox 13.

These fellas are on point with their dancing skills. Peterson decided to bring back the video this season to entice customers to come back for this year’s tree. Yep, I think his idea was a success. The video has over a million views on TikTok.
People told them not to do it…but we’re glad they did!
Peterson told Fox 13 that his friends and family and pretty much everyone he knew thought he was crazy for coming up with the idea. Thankfully this very smart man made the right choice to move forward with the epic dance video. He simply told them, “Well, we’re doing it, so…” – Peterson told Fox 13. And no one is sorry.

The video included the caption, “Introducing, for one night only, “The Peterson Tree Lot Boys” 2020.” It has no doubt brought a lot of joy and cheer to everyone who has seen it. We can’t wait for this year’s video, which they’ve said is in the works!
