Most women would like to say that they’re strong and confident. Frankly, though, it’s not always the case.
50-year-old Tori from Iowa wasn’t feeling good about herself. So much so, it was keeping her from sharing her art with the world – something she’s very passionate about.
But instead of continuing on a path of feeling “small,” Tori decided to schedule an appointment with The Makeover Guy in the hopes of getting a much-needed confidence boost.
And was she successful? Well, let’s just say that Tori looks like a certain glamorous star in the end, and below is a preview of her loved ones’ reactions…
We get to know Tori a little better prior to the makeover.
Many would say that Tori is a beautiful woman from the very start. However, deep inside she wasn’t happy about her appearance, which was affecting her life as an artist.
In the video, Tori’s actually a little teary talking about everything. She explains:
“I haven’t had the courage to really take my art into the world and be open to criticism from other people. So yeah, I just want more freedom.”
Tori recently turned the big 5-0, and the makeover was a way for her to celebrate the milestone birthday.

But even if you can’t visit the “appearance aficionado” yourself, Christopher Hopkins (aka The Makeover Guy) has a best-selling book called, Staging Your Comeback: A Complete Beauty Revival for Women Over 45. He also inspires and lifts spirits through his popular YouTube channel (which has more than 328K subscribers).
Artist Tori was ready to break out of her shell.
She tells the camera:
“I’m ready to walk through life and say ‘I really don’t care what other people say.’ It’s what I want and what I feel – what I feel moved to do.”
Christoper and his team got to work with Tori, giving her a brand new hair and makeup style.
The Makeover Guy explained on YouTube:
“Tori felt dragged down and tired of her heavy long hair. With a desire for freedom of movement and a hairstyle that better reflected her inner artist, more color to her face and some snappy highlights, she left with a bounce in her step.”
Tori looks absolutely incredible after her transformation. Even she’s stunned seeing herself in the mirror!
When Tori walks out to see her loved ones their jaws drop too. She’s radiant, gorgeous, and her blue eyes are full of sparkle. One of the women tells her, “You should have come a long time ago!”
The internet seems to agree that Tori’s transformation leaves her looking like a certain Hollywood actress.
One person wrote:
“She looks like Jane Fonda in her prime. She was stunning before, but he really brought it all right to the surface and made her a star – those eyes are so amazing.”
Another commented:

Yet, some believe Tori resembles a different beautiful celebrity – none other than Friends star, Jennifer Aniston!
