If you’re brave enough to go to your high school reunion, likely you’ll want to look your best. After all, reunions are more than just catching up with classmates – people are curious to see how you “turned out” too!
Toni from Arlington, Texas had a couple of big reasons why she wanted a makeover. One of them was that her 40th class reunion was just around the corner, and by no surprise, she wanted to be ready for it. But instead of just heading over to her local salon, Toni decided to hop on a plane and visit renowned stylist Christoper Hopkins (Aka: The Makeover Guy) in Minneapolis.

There was another huge reason Toni was excited about making some changes in the beauty department…
A lot of us make goals for ourselves every year when it comes to our health. Whether we actually reach those goals, well, that’s a totally different story! But for Toni, she actually managed to make a major accomplishment in regards to her weight. She lost 50 pounds within a year, which is certainly something to be proud of.
To go along with her new slimmer body, Toni desired a new hairstyle that would make her “feel pretty.” However, she admitted that she wasn’t looking to go “too terribly different.”
Some of Christopher’s clients walk into his studio ready for completely bold and drastic changes. But for those who aren’t – it doesn’t mean there won’t be eye-popping results. Just like in Toni’s case.
We all know that it seems like The Makeover Guy has magic in his hands.
The Texas resident was a beautiful woman even before she sat down in Christopher’s chair. After her makeover though, she’s a blonde bombshell that could pass for a Hollywood starlet!
In fact, Toni looks many years younger after her transformation (which is one of The Makeover Guy’s specialties). A viewer nicknamed Chewbacca also agreed, commenting on YouTube:
“STUNNING & GORGEOUS!!!! She looks like a teeny bopper. Incredible makeover, IMO she’s not over 29 years old!”
When it’s time for Toni to see her new reflection, she nervously closes her eyes tight at first. Finally, she opens them and her jaw drops to the floor…
Toni’s stunned realizing that the woman in the mirror is actually her! She bounces around like a schoolgirl and says, “That’s me! I’m pretty!” It’s a priceless reaction that’s just too cute to miss.
In the video description, The Makeover Guy provided a few details in regards to Toni’s hair. He explained:
“She has trouble getting her hair not to look brassy. So we pull out the pigment and added some depth and dimension in more ash tones. Beautiful hair, really.”
If Toni was hoping to knock her classmates’ socks off at the 40th high school reunion, I’d say with her new look – she’d do more than just that. She’d blow them all away!
