Ice skating is one activity that brings the winter spirit into season.
Whereas Christmas music gets everyone into the holiday spirit. Katarina DelCamp combined the two for a perfect Christmas performance. She was only five-years-old during the performance but her skating and personality are perfect for the holiday season.
This is one performance that shines bright every Christmas season.
Katarina DelCamp was performing an ice skating routine at the Houston Galleria’s Christmas Show.
Katarina’s youthful innocence is perfect for the performance that was set to Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas.”
Katarina is decked out in her own adorable Santa suit with the matching hat and arm sleeves to complete the outfit.
Katarina has the crowd cheering her loudly from the very beginning.
She showcases her strongest ice skating moves from the very beginning and the crowd loves it.
Most five year olds, let’s be honest most adults too, can barely stand up straight on an ice rink but Katarina is already twirling and skating on one foot.
Katarina already has the personality of a performer too.
Katarina has the talent but being a performer is an entirely different ball game. Luckily for Katarina, she has the skills for both. Katarina shakes and shimmies for the audience at one point. She even went off queue and did her own idea.
“Katarina was supposed to perform her entire routine on the open end of the rink even though she had begged to circle the tree in practice. Well, when it was Show Time, little Miss Independent took it upon herself to improv a bit and circled the tree. LOL!!! That flair for the dramatic is signature Katarina,” Katarina’s parents wrote.
Katarina had the self confidence at five to go against the choreography and perform the routine she wanted. It was totally worth the risk!
Mariah Carey’s Christmas tune is more modern than most Christmas songs and it was the perfect match for Katarina’s bubbly personality.
Katarina was able to showcase her talent and best moves and tricks to the beat of the song.
It is astonishing the ice skating tricks that Katarina was able to perform at the age of five.
The audience that were able to watch this young ice skater saw a professional while she was still young.
Katarina has a bright future in front of her and it was already evident by this fun Christmas performance.

Katarina performed this Christmas routine with talent that keeps growing.
Katarina is now a teenager that ice skates alongside her partner Ian Somerville.
She was previously partnered with Maxwell Gart. She was invited to be a member of the United States Figure Skating Team. She also was the 2017 US National Novice Dance silver medalist.
