Flamenco is a super fun and interesting type of dance. Basically, it is a type of variety of Spanish musical styles.
If you want to get more specific, it is an “art form based on the various folkloric music traditions of southern Spain in the autonomous community of Andalusia and Murcia,” according to Wikipedia.
Additionally, in 2010, “UNESCO declared flamenco one of the Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.”
Much like other art forms — like ballet, jazz dance, tap dance, and beyond — you can start practicing flamenco at any age! It doesn’t matter if you are four or forty, if it’s your passion, then it’s your passion.
This adorable girl who is only 2-years-old loves flamenco dancing and was gifted with something that would make her whole day.
Already dressed in her flamenco costume in her home, her parents suddenly opened the door and surprised her with a package. What could possibly be inside?
Turns out they were gifting her with a brand-new pair of shoes. When she opened the box to discover them, she was over the moon with joy. She did not waste a moment — she was instantly so obsessed with them!
She immediately put the shoes on and they were far too big but it did not seem to bother her one bit. It truly did not matter. She was just so excited to have a fresh pair of dancing shoes.
So what did she do once she put the heels on? She did what any overjoyed 2-year-old would do and started to dance. And boy, did she try out some of her finest moves.
The girl looks extra adorable with a bubblegum pink flower in her hair and a matching pink skirt. Her hair is super curly and her black shirt almost matches, with ruffly sleeves. Even if she didn’t know how to do the dance, she was definitely dressed for the part!
She sits in her chair and just tests out the quality of the heels by stomping on the ground. Yep — they definitely work, we can tell after hearing the noise of the stamping!
Then she gets up and continues to move around. She is so happy she just can’t stop moving around. It’s almost as if she is getting an adrenaline rush from these shoes alone!
She checks herself out in the mirror and strikes some seriously sassy moves. It’s almost as if she’s thinking, “Oh yeah, I look great.” It is so hilarious and adorable!
She even whips out some props to help out her “performance,” like a white scarf that she swings around. It totally adds another element.
You can tell this young girl is really dedicated to her art by all of the props and clothing she has. She really loves living this flamenco dancer life, that is for sure!
At one point, she even approaches the camera and looks right into the lens as she giggles and says, “I’m so happy.” Absolutely precious!
There’s nothing better than treating a young child with something they truly love.
