There are so many ways and means we find our forever friends.
Most of us met our friends either in our neighborhood in our childhood home or school. Some of us earned friends for life in our high school or college clubs or the workmates we bonded with so much.
Most of these friendships last because we have something in common.
It might start as idolizing the same author or musician. Then, you would discover how similar your personalities are and that you dream of the same things. After all, friendship anchors and thrives on these things.
But this is one weird story about how three women got together and became best friends.
Morgan Tabor, Abi Roberts, and Bekah King love the same things. They found out that they have the same taste in music and loves watching movies. They also love taking risks and getting into great adventures.
However, if you ask them why they got together, it’s not your usual friendship story.
That is because they knew each other when they found out they were dating the same guy.
Yes, that is the truth. It was Morgan who found this out at first. She noticed a woman constantly commenting on her boyfriend’s social media. A little more digging led her to the woman’s VSCO account and found photos of her and her boyfriend.
She approached the woman, and the two continued to stalk his account.
That’s when they found out about Abi and Bekah.
After hours of FaceTime calls, the ladies did one thing they’re left to do: dump him. After these painful events, things took a turn for the better – no matter how weird it is.
The trio got together and planned to go on a road trip.
The other woman couldn’t go with them yet remained in contact with the three ladies. However, the three started to work on their healing process that they considered an adventure of a lifetime.
They pooled together $5,000 to buy an old bus.
They spend months repairing and converting the bus into a livable home. Their Instagram account showed their fun journey of building and owning their motorhome.
From removing the old interior to painting the exterior, the women had lots of fun with their project.
They built a lovely couch that extends into a bed. They added bunk beds, a gear room, and everything else they might need in a home for a road trip that could last them months. And when everything was ready, the girls got a title, contract, and insurance before they hit the road.
One more thing: they also held a simple gathering before they left.
They had family and friends wishing them all the best as they travel around the country. They left Idaho last June 25 and were heading West. And while their trip was supposed to end this November, they are thinking about extending the travel and other long-term plans with their bus.
This friendship may have started weirdly, but they totally healed from it all in the most beautiful manner.
