When you are a car thief, you have to make sure you pick your victims carefully. Stealing cars is a dangerous business and making sure you are able to get away safely is really important!

Well, one car thief was about to learn that lesson – the hard way.

One thief, in particular, decided to make a play on a car that was parked out near a local gas station. The entire thing was caught on the security camera, allowing us to see what happened next.

We can see the thief pop the door open and slip in.

The man looks around, notices he is probably alone, and opens the door. Once he’s inside and putting it in park, he’s probably thinking in his head that it’s all downhill from there!

As soon as the car starts moving, however, the real owner of the car noticed.

Jordan Williams is the real owner of the vehicle and saw what was going down. Sprinting through the gas station doors, he ran up to the window and yanked the door open.

For the thief, this was quite the shock!

What the thief didn’t know, however was that there was a lot more coming. Jordan isn’t some random person, Jordan is a trained UFC professional. UFC stands for Ultimate Fighting Championship, marking Jordan as a pinnacle fighter in top condition, able to brawl in any circumstances.

When the door was yanked open by Jordan, the short joyride for the thief turned into a pain party.

With super quick reflexes, Jordan granted the man’s shoulders and pulled his feet away from the pedals. Once the man lost control of the vehicle, he was fully in Jordan’s grasp! All it took was a few sift punches and a knee to the ribs to let the thief know that this car-thieving business wasn’t all it was cracked up to be.

Without hesitation, the man took off before he was more seriously hurt!

A little bit of pain is a great deterrent! After his swift beating, he ran off knowing that Jordan wasn’t to be trifled with. Once Jordan knew he was safe, he was able to head back to get the footage for himself.

In an interview, Jordan was asked if he wished he did anything differently.

While he wasn’t upset with how things ended, Jordan wished he had been able to catch the guy. He knew that if he had been able to apprehend him, it would have potentially saved someone else in the future. It’s likely the man would try for someone else, granted someone a lot less formidable!

Also, Jordan was upset he didn’t lock his car as he had thought.

Locking your car is the first step to deterring any would-be thieves, and Jordan had missed that crucial step. Still, he had enough brains AND brawn to take care of his mistake himself! Hopefully, the man learned a lesson and won’t try and steal things again – we can only hope!
