There’s no doubt possible that Steve Harvey is one of the funniest, charming and selfless celebrity personalities around, which has proved extensively in the past with acts of kindness and his hilarious on-air behavior. Since 2010 Harvey has been hosting the game show family feud, where two teams battle for significant amounts of prize money. The show is often funny and surprising – and when someone wins a large sum, it’s completely understandable that they’re overloaded with emotions.

Recently, a quite determined contestant was playing Family Feud and Steve always thought that he looked more nervous than any other contestant he’d ever seen. He was sweating profusely, to the point where the producers even asked him to change his shirt. Steve originally wanted to joke about his nervousness for the game show but realized that perhaps something else was going on.

“He had played three days and they didn’t win the money, and he was just a wreck,” he said. Luckily for the man, after three days he finally won the amount of $20,000. Immediately afterward, the man collapsed in tears. “He just fell on his knees, and he wouldn’t stop crying,” Harvey said.

The show went to commercial break and Steve wanted to talk to the man. We’d imagine winning $20,000 can bring up a bunch of emotions, but Steve thought that this reaction was extreme even for winning twenty grand. When he finally asked him what was going on, he was completely shocked to hear his response.
