Parents know how dangerous the world could be to innocent kids. That’s why they do their very best to teach them the importance of not talking to strangers and being more aware of their environment. Unfortunately, in some cases, such lessons aren’t enough.

Jocelyn Rojas, a 5-year-old girl, was kidnapped right in front of her grandma’s home.

Based on the investigation, a man had lured the child into his vehicle. He promised her she would get ice cream. As soon as she approached the man, he grabbed her by the neck and shoved her inside the car.

As soon as the news broke out, people started looking for her.

There was a search party formed just to find the poor little girl. They blocked off streets and took canines in. Everyone who joined did their best to locate Jocelyn’s location.

They hopped on their bikes and started their own search. Even though they were just 15 years old, they bravely went out just to save Jocelyn’s life.

About a mile from her home, Temar Boggs and his friend saw a maroon sedan.

It was the same vehicle used in kidnapping Jocelyn so they became suspicious of it. Plus, the driver was acting weird.

In the interview, Temar shared:

“Every time we’d go down the street, he’d turn back around, and then … we’ll follow him.”

On their bikes, the two teenagers chased the vehicle.

They were determined to save the girl. And when they got the opportunity, they pulled up next to the driver.

When Temar realized that there was really something wrong with the driver, he locked eyes with him. Then, he said:

“I see you.”

What he said shocked the kidnapper.

Like a miracle, he pushed Jocelyn out of his vehicle and sped away. As soon as she was out, she asked to see her mom.

The next day, the police were able to catch the kidnapper.

Temar and his friend were able to give a very vivid description of the man. They shared that it was a white male driving a maroon or reddish-purple car with round taillights. He was around 50 to 70 years old. He was wearing red-and-white striped shirt and green pants that day.

And thanks to that, the man was caught.

With the teenagers’ brave act, the man will no longer be able to hurt other kids and send families into depression, anxiety, and intense stress. If it wasn’t for them, something bad may have happened to Jocelyn.

Temar and his friend were praised by tons of people online. One of them said:

“As a father to 2 girls this sent a chill down my spine, every parents worst nightmare. What a totally fantastic young man. I’m not a rich guy but I would be taking him to the showroom to buy him his first car. Kid rocks!!!”
