The band is composed of Jordan Maiers on the guitar and vocals, Luke O’Neil as the lead guitarist, Cody Sakry on the bass, and Mark Peterson on the drums. Wearing their round-neck shirts and cargo shorts, these young men took the gymnasium by storm with their rendition of “Fade to Black,” an iconic song popularized by Metallica.

The song was originally released way back in 1984, but its power and incredible impact are still there. The crowd went wild with the boys’ amazing version of the song!

It all started with a soft introduction of the song, with light guitar plucking and gradual transition to the rock and heavy metal part.

These guys may be from high school, but their talent sure is way beyond their years. The original singers would surely feel proud of their incredible take on the song.

The boys may have felt inspired by the original arrangement, but the vocalist sang using his own voice and not like the throaty vocals of Metallica. It was a different kind of amazing and people in the audience are wowed, to say the least.

The lead guitarist, O’Neil, truly shone on stage and his guitar skills are unbelievable. He and Maiers, the vocalist, can definitely play the instrument well.

Sadly, the band did not bag the first place in the competition although they ended up in second place.

Yes, they may have had a few mistakes here and there, but their incredible talent in music and as a band is still something that nobody can deny that day.

They were in second place but they totally stole millions of hearts on the internet. Someone was able to capture their performance in full and uploaded the video on YouTube. The clip earned more than 6.6 million views online! Now, that only proves how talented these teenagers are.
