Teens Have Audience In Stitches With Comical Beach Ball Performance At Talent Show
As soon as the music started I was laughing.

Who doesn’t love a beach ball? They’ve been around since the late thirties, but gained popularity in the 1960s after appearing in “beachy” movies. If you’re going to hit the sand, a beach ball is the perfect, multi-colored toy that the whole family can toss around.

These types of balls weigh virtually nothing so people of all ages can play with them. Simply pump one up and watch grown adults turn into kids scrambling to get their hands on it.

Turns out though, they have other uses too.

All one needs is imagination and creativity. Check out these guys who put on a ballet show with beach balls as props. Really, when you allow a bunch of guys to come up with a performance, it’s always something… unexpected.

The act is done to “Total Eclipse of the Heart” by Bonnie Tyler.

It’s just the intro of the song but already the audience is chuckling to themselves. The man with the beach ball turns around just like the song says to, all with a goofy grin on his young face.

Everyone wants to know what it’s like to be a lifeguard. It’s a job that requires you to stay by the water and most people think it’s cool. But no one ever asks the obvious. “How are the lifeguards doing?

In fact, the lyrics seem to speak of this lifeguard’s thoughts,

“(Turn around) every now and then I get a little bit tired
Of listening to the sound of my tears
(Turn around) every now and then I get a little bit nervous
That the best of all the years have gone by”

Poor guy. All his time is spent watching out for others and no one ever checks up on him.

Well, at least lifeguards have each other.

Another guy comes out and joins his friend for a little beach ball dance, both men unashamed to show their emotions in front of all the people. They keep the beach ball close to their bodies, rotating around each other without dropping the ball.

If you watch closely, the dance moves seem to simulate a few swimming moves. It’s almost as if they’re in the water – and frankly, it’s pretty darn hilarious.

But it gets even better. Six others join them, all with their own beach balls.

That’s eight guys with seven balls.

You gotta give them credit for their choreography. This must have taken them lots and lots of hours to get down! Not to mention, the effort it took to create those costumes. Get ready for a beach party with these guys!

These guys are model students. Really. The focus and determination needed to do this, the confidence to go on stage and entertain people, that’s not what wayward students do! This is how Dallas Baptist University takes care of their students.

Their skit is so funny and entertaining it’s earned them over 100K views on YouTube. Just know, you might never look at the beach ball the same way again.
