Boy recognizes teen walking fast on road & asks mom to pull over. Her heart breaks hearing his story
Lavonda and her son were driving in the car when her son asked his mom to stop because he recognized a teen walking on the side of the road. She pulled over and agreed to take the teen as far as they were going but quickly changed her mind when he started talking and she learned where he was heading.

Do you often complain about how much school work you have to do before you can enjoy your phone and gaming console?

Going to school is tough, right? You have to wake up early, and when you get home, you’re not done yet. You still have to do assignments. Although, you should already consider yourself very fortunate if this is happening to you.

It was December 10, 2020; Lavonda Wright Myers and her son were on their way to dinner. Lavonda’s son asked his mother to slow down as he saw a familiar face.

Lavonda noticed him too. He was walking really fast because he couldn’t be late for his work.

The young boy, Jayden Sutton, is a high school senior from Cobb County, Georgia. He was on his way to work when Lavonda saw him, and that’s when he asked if they could give him a ride.

She and her son agreed to take him as far as they were going, and then they started talking about life. That’s when she found out why this young man was walking fast.

Jayden is determined to focus on his studies while working a 6 to 7-hour shift. If you think that is tough, did you know that he walks an average of 7 miles every day?

No joke. This boy endures long hours of walking just to study and work. His day ends after midnight when he reaches his home – exhausted.

Can you imagine doing this every day?

According to Jayden, he has his dreams, and one of his motivations is to save up so he could buy himself a car.

“Immediately my heart got full. I was literally holding back tears tore up. I said baby I’ll be taking you all the way to work forget my plans for now. I started declaring over his life and speaking in faith to his need”, Lavonda shared in her GoFundMe post.

At a very young age, Jayden has to juggle school, work, and walking miles and miles just to make all of this happen. Some kids would already lose hope in this situation – but not Jayden.

He’s a young man who’s determined to reach his dreams and to be able to finish school, even if he has to walk long hours and gets home tired.

After that, Lavonda knew in her heart that everything happened for a reason. That she was there at the right moment so she could meet Jayden, and she knew what she had to do.

“On Dec 11th, created a Gofundme, on Dec 12th with a goal of $4,000 and within 30days GOD demonstrated his love, power, and ability to provide over/above my goal with a $7,000 miracle in the middle of a pandemic,” she later said in her Facebook testimony.

In no time, she was able to achieve more than what she expected!

She was able to talk to a kind car dealer from Nalley Honda Dealership, who agreed to cut the car’s price down. Soon, she was able to purchase a car for Jayden, and she was able to set a surprise for the hardworking boy.

When Jayden arrived at the Honda dealership, he was unaware of the surprise waiting for him.

Finally, Lavonda revealed her surprise, and Jayden’s reaction was truly heartfelt.

He immediately went inside and touched the steering wheel. He was really surprised and even though he was wearing a mask, you could see how happy his eyes were.

“I love her for it. I just want to thank you so much, you don’t even understand how much,” Jayden told Lavonda.

It was a beautiful story of kindness, perseverance, hope, and determination. A young man who never gives up will soon harvest the fruits of his labor. Of course, there are also people who would help.

This young man will graduate and will succeed because of his attitude.

In an interview with Fox5, Jayden left a beautiful message for everyone:

“If you’re doing something good or trying to reach a goal keep doing it. You might get some help. That’s what happened to me.”

GOD DID IT YALL 😭🙌🏾 ‼️Plz know GOD PROVIDES‼️🗣Jayden no more walking 7 miles to work after school young man. GOD bless…
