I hope this lady gets employee of the year for this. She went above and beyond "customer service" to help this mom out.

As any parent or adult taking care of a young child would know, it’s hard to bring toddlers and babies on errands.

The young kids are okay at first and they’re excited to help out. But their interest is limited and pretty soon, they’re going to feel restless.

And it’s hard to stay patient with a restless toddler filled with too much energy.

This story is a prime example.

Stefanie Bradbard Elliott had this dilemma when she brought her 2-year-old daughter, Evallyn, to Target for their errands.

She did bring her daughter’s toys to keep her occupied but pretty soon, it was obvious the toys were not enough to keep her still.

She needed to finish shopping fast.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t fast enough and she was getting worried she’ll never finish.

“My daughter was following me to check out on her knees, dragging her huge shoes that she insisted on wearing. At the same time, I was telling her to stand up and giving her ‘the look’ that most moms have to convey they mean business,” Stefanie recalled.

Fortunately, there was a Target employee nearby, a woman named AJ, who noticed the little girl and decided to help Stefanie.

She had the best idea.

“The employee asked if she was a ballerina and could show her how to dance. My daughter said yes, and said, ‘do it like this,’ then they both started twirling and dancing together. There wasn’t even any music playing but they were having a blast,” Stefanie added.

Talk about a heart of gold

AJ complimented Evallyn on her dancing.

In turn, this encouraged the little girl even more and burnt up all that energy inside her.

“You are so good. Are you ready? Wanna go again?” AJ asked Evallyn, who shouted yes!

AJ knew what she was doing.

The employee also made it a point to let Evallyn lead the dance-off so she didn’t lose interest.

She followed Evallyn’s steps and moves and did her best to keep her entertained.

Stefanie shared the video on her town’s Facebook group and the members loved and enjoyed what they watched.

The grateful mom said the Target trip was getting stressful until AJ stepped in to help.

It didn’t matter that Evallyn was simply jumping around and waving her arms.

They were having a great time.

And Stefanie was enjoying watching her daughter having the time of her life. We could feel Stefanie’s big smile behind that camera.

And we’re pretty sure anyone who was in that store and saw this scene had big smiles on their faces, too.

Store employees are usually there to stock the shelves, direct you to the right aisles, get your stock from the back, and ring up your purchases.

But on this day, a Target employee went one step further and managed a young girl’s pent-up energy and reduced a mom’s stress levels.

She had to share the moment.

Stefanie decided to share this video online to show that kindness still abounds and can arrive in the most unexpected places.
