44-year-old Amber is a single mom, gymnast coach – and she’s also a breast cancer survivor. When she walked into The Makeover Guy’s establishment it had been nine years since she was first diagnosed. But after a difficult journey, she needed to be free and “get control back.” For Amber, a beauty transformation was a step to help get her there.
Many people know that Christopher Hopkins (aka The Makeover Guy) helps change clients’ lives through his work.
With that being said – just wait until you see the incredible results of Amber’s transformation.
The mom of two traveled all the way from Utah to Minneapolis for her big day with Christopher and his team. She had a 20-year-old daughter in college and also a 12-year-old at home.
While being a working mom isn’t easy on its own, Amber was just 35 when she got the diagnosis.
In the video, Amber’s in tears talking about her heartbreaking story.
She explains:
“…since then I’m just kinda surviving. My whole thing is I didn’t want anyone to look at me, I didn’t want anyone asking me questions… And it has taken me this long to think, ‘I did survive.”
After dealing with something this scary, Amber was ready to take her power back. Doing something about her appearance was instead something she could control.
The mom had trust in Christopher and was up for anything he saw fit. Even though she walked in with long locks, she wasn’t afraid to say ‘bye’ to them (which not every woman says). Amber hadn’t cut her hair since it grew back, however – she’d also been on the other side of it when she didn’t have hair at all.
Amber was eventually whisked away for her makeover while her supportive mom patiently waited. Get ready to meet a brand new woman!
Who’s that hot mama sitting in the chair? Amber’s new look is absolutely stunning with a shorter haircut, new color, and tons of glamour! Her eyes sparkle and pop with the perfect makeup job, and her lips are full and gorgeous too. Best of all…she LOVES it.
One viewer even felt she resembled a certain Hollywood actress (and The Makeover Guy agreed):
“Wow! She looks like Delta Burke in the After Shot! So beautiful and glamorous!”
Amber’s knock-out appearance is one thing, but just wait until you experience how different she seems overall.
During Amber’s before-segment, she’s teary and seems worn out from all she’d gone through. Afterwards though, she is vibrant, happy, confident, and has a completely different attitude. The single mom is even ready to mingle! She shares:
“I can do anything now and I’m not afraid to look in the mirror.”

At the end of the video, Amber shares the following powerful words:
