Some women are used to having long, beautiful locks that they’d never dream of cutting. Just the sight of scissors could make them shiver!
Then there are others who enjoy making bold moves with their hair – and chopping it off doesn’t frighten them at all.
Sheba Salvic is a gorgeous, red-headed fashion model. Many might look at her and think, “If I had that type of hair, I would never cut it.” But Sheba views it quite differently. On her Instagram page, she says, “I am not my #hair.”
It’s a dramatic makeover that went viral.
Sheba was given a haircut that had tons of jaws dropping. The video now has over 1.6 million views on YouTube.
It starts with long-haired Sheba walking into a building seeming ready for a modeling shoot. Well, going by how lovely she looks, it’s not a crazy assumption! She meets a team of people that will be taking care of her that day.
They do begin with some photos.
Sheba sits and models for a photographer. Right away it’s obvious she’s a natural beauty and has a gift for being in front of the camera.
On to the exciting part.
Although Sheba’s wavy red mane looks stunning, they move on to the real goal of the day. Giving her a haircut.
The model changes into black and takes a seat in the stylist’s chair. Once she’s all prepped for the cut, the stylist then grabs an electric razor. That’s right, an electric razor!
Sheba doesn’t look terrified at first. Many of us, however, would’ve reacted with a loud gulp.
Her next facial expression says it all.
Sheba later admitted that she was, in fact, scared during the process. In the YouTube comments, she wrote:
“It was really scary when they started shaving my hair off on the sides.”
Moments later there’s no turning back.
After getting through the initial buzz, Sheba sits calmly as the stylist shaves the sides of her head. Now that’s pretty brave!
With each swoop, the model’s beautiful hair falls to the floor, and she keeps a smile on her face throughout it all.
Part of her hair remains.
There are other plans for the top portion of Sheba’s hair. Instead of buzzing it all off, the stylist gets out a pair of scissors and continues working her magic.
Eventually, you can see where the stylist is going.
Tons of women are able to pull off a pixie haircut – from celebrities to soccer moms. Sheba is a person that can rock even the shortest do.
In the video, her adorable style comes to life as each moment passes, which seems to make her facial features pop. Even if you’re a big fan of long hair – you gotta admit, she looks amazing!

The video helped launch Sheba’s career.
