Reba McEntire is one of the world’s most popular country singers who has also made a name for herself as a TV actress.
She is one of country music’s most well-loved and well-liked celebrities.

Her first single came out in 1977 and since then a Grammy Award and has won the Country Music Association (CMA) Awards as best female vocalist four years in a row.
In 2001, she starred in her own television sitcom aptly named “Reba.”
This TV show ran until 2007.
McEntire remains active in the entertainment industry, releasing albums, holding concerts, and acting on various television shows regularly.
Recently, she filled in for Hoda Kotb and co-hosted “TODAY with Jenna and Hoda” with Jenna Bush Hager.
During this episode, McEntire shared that she has a book coming out soon.

More interestingly, she opened up about her love life. McEntire is in a relationship with actor Rex Linn, her boyfriend since 2020.
She shared that they met in 1991 when they both starred in a Kenny Rogers movie, “The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw.”
They stayed in touch over the last 30 years until they finally had dinner in 2020, right before the pandemic and got together.
“I couldn’t get close enough to him.” McEntire said about Linn.

“He is ‘Sugar Tot.’ I’m ‘Tate Tot’, he’s Sugar Tot. We’re the Tots,” she shared with Jenna and the rest of the viewers.
To the delight of Bush Hager, Linn was in the studio.
She welcomed him and asked him how he was doing.

“I’m doing great. I’ve already had tater tots this morning for breakfast here,” Linn said with a laugh.
At the same time, a cast member brought out a plate of tater tots for McEntire and Bush Hager to try.

The happy couple shared that they have an affinity for tater tots, specifically Sonic tater tots.
Bush Hager asked if they went to Sonic for their Valentine’s date and they confirmed that they did.
“It was the best Valentine’s date ever,” Linn said.

On a podcast in 2021, McEntire and Linn shared how they got their unique nicknames.
They went out to dinner with friends and tater tots were on the menu.
Linn shared, “That was the perfect moment. You ordered Tater Tots, you delved into them like a great white shark with ketchup. And I just thought, that’s it. It’s ‘Tater Tot.'”
The nickname “Sugar Tot” for Linn came from McEntire’s sister Susie.

McEntire is releasing a new book called “Not that Fancy: Simple Lessons on Living, Loving, Eating, and Dusting Off Your Boots,” in October.
The book will include her relationship with Linn and her other life experiences.
It will also include recipes, including Linn’s “Pecan-smoked beer can chicken tacos.”
