It’s not often that we see people being a blessing to another person.

It may be a kind gesture, a helping hand, or giving gifts to random people who deserve it.

Her TikTok videos show how she empowers her clients by hyping them up.

She’s always positive and shares that energy with other people visiting the shop.

Positivity is everything!

When Lucille was young, she feared shopping for formal events because there weren’t many plus-size options.

“If you weren’t skinny, there weren’t many options, and it was devastating for me because I’ve always loved fashion,” She said in an interview.

“I went to my prom looking like a church lady in a suit dress with a jacket because it was the only thing that fit,” she continued. “It was a very sad period in my life.”

She was still thankful for those experiences.

They are the reason why she started offering prom dresses at her shop.

“I know what it’s like to be a fat girl in a fatphobic world,” she says.

Though she has been in the business for more than a decade, it was in 2021 that she gained national popularity through her TikTok videos.

And TikTok was where Elyse Monroe, an 18-year-old high school senior, found Lucille’s shop.

She drove roughly six hours so she could have a prom consultation at Juicy Body Goddess in the Northlake Mall.

Lucille made sure it was worth Monroe’s time and effort.

In the TikTok video, Lucille keeps on hyping up Monroe in the fitting room.

Every dress has a unique style and Monroe loved them all.

But one dress made her shine brighter.

It was the purple evening gown in a shimmery fabric.

It’s what Lucille does best!

“I love that on you! It is so beautiful,” Lucille exclaims, as Monroe twirls and smiles at her reflection in the mirror.

She’s always so energetic while sharing positivity with her clients.

When Monroe and her family were getting ready to pay for the dress, things got even better.

“So this dress is $700 … but it’s free,” said Lucille to them. “We’re giving it to you.”

Monroe and her family were surprised and thankful.

They even started to cry for such a wonderful blessing.

As mentioned, Lucille made sure it was worth their time and effort.

“Not only does it fit — but it makes me feel good about myself,” Monroe told the news.

“Shopping is usually pretty stressful for me, which is why I mostly shop online — but we were laughing the whole time. It was actually fun.”

Lucille mentioned the gifts are random.

“It’s just a feeling,” she says.

She may have seen her younger self in Monroe.

“These prom consultations heal me. I cry at almost everyone,” Monroe added.
