Mia Charlotte and Linda Bech are sisters with long gorgeous locks. Together, they created the popular Instagram account Aurora Braids.

On their page, Mia and Linda share photos of the braids they weave, which are so stunning – the styles look as if they belong in storybooks. Just be prepared to get lost in how magical they are.

It all started when they were little girls.

Mia and Linda’s journey into the braiding world began as kids. Their first hairstyle creations, however, were much different than what they are now. Older sister Linda explained to FEMAIL that they eventually learned more intricate braiding techniques by watching videos on YouTube.

“That’s when we started experimenting with different styles as well, and we became obsessed with braiding.”

The sisters decided to share their princess-like hairstyles on social media, where they ended up gathering tons of fans. Currently, they have 181K followers on Instagram.

With every scroll, you’ll see photos of the ladies’ incredible work. Some of the braids are decorated in flowers, while another is made up of tiny “hair bows.” Each one is striking, to say the least.

Mia and Linda take photos of their braids in their Norwegian hometown.

The natural backdrops in their photographs pair beautifully with the woven hairstyles. If you flip through Aurora Braids, you’ll see the girls posing in lush greenery and snowy white landscapes.

If you want to try these fairytale braids yourself, the siblings have a YouTube channel as well.

Have you ever dreamed of looking like the queen of the ocean? Simply have a friend follow Mia and Linda’s tutorial for the “Mermaid Queen Braid” to help your fantasy come true.

On their channel titled “Mia & Linda” you’ll also discover videos for how to create “Merged French Fishtale Braids” and a “Cotton Candy Bun.” Or, grab that same friend, and each become one piece of a “Best Friend Heart Braid.”

Some of their braids take more time than others.

Mia and Linda will either do each other’s hair or use their middle sister as a model. They use a few clever tricks too. For more texture and volume in their braids, they’ll crimp or curl their locks before starting. Linda, whose hair is fine, also uses clip-in extensions at times.

She told FEMAIL:

“Easy hairstyles normally take between five to 20 minutes to do, while more intricate hairstyles that require some hair prep beforehand can take up to an hour or more.”

If you can’t get enough of their magnificent hairstyles, Mia and Linda created a tutorial book called, Eventyrlige Fletter og Frisyrer. Or, “Fairy-Tale Braids and Hairstyles.”

According to Insider, they have a braiding app titled FLETTE. It’s free and it goes along with their book. The App Store provides the following description:

“The app includes videos that will show you how to do some of the braids from the book.”
