One commenter even called him “New Ballet Star”. There is also someone who appreciated how he can dance flawlessly in the rain and even without wearing footwear. That person also wished that he would get a scholarship.

“This little boy, is the most naturally gifted ballet dancer I have ever seen in my life. He is dancing barefoot in the rain and it’s harder because you are slipping and sliding. Jehovah God has gifted him with an extraordinary talent. May someone give him a scholarship.”

That is exactly what happened next to Anthony.

Aside from the thousands of people he amazed online with his talent, he also stunned Cynthia Harvey, the artistic director of New York’s ABT Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School of Dance.

Harvey immediately tried to find Anthony and she succeeded. She then generously offered him a scholarship to ABT virtual Young Dancer Summer Workshop, a three-week intensive program.

“A friend who lives in the UK sent me the video. Within a day I was trying to find him,” Harvey told the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Anthony’s video is a blessing not only to him but also to his dance school.

“It made us just feel very overwhelmed and grateful. We can not believe our eyes, and the outpouring of support, sometimes we think we’re dreaming. God has been so gracious to us by providing all these things,” he told Bored Panda.

He also described how happy Anthony is for all the opportunities that he has been receiving. Lastly, Daniel talked about the main goal of his school and it is heartwarming.

“Anthony is very excited and has always been a hard worker, so he is happy to continue working towards his dreams and have this opportunity. Anthony is currently in ABT virtual summer intensive. The main goal for our school is to have our students represent ballet in Nigeria well and bring it to the forefront while showing the elegance of ballet, but also letting our culture shine through,” he added.

Anthony is indeed a new star online. But more than that, he is an inspiration especially to the young ones who have big dreams. He is proof that nothing is impossible as long as you have the heart and passion.
