Basel sees the fourth person counting his money and realizing he doesn’t have enough, so the YouTuber steps in and pays for him as well

“I know how difficult life is nowadays, I got your bill, you don’t have to pay anything,” Basel tells Arnel.

The most touching encounter comes when Basel sees a disabled woman waiting in line

When he sees a disabled lady waiting in line, Basel knows this needs to be the fifth person he pays for. At first, she looks weary of the man standing behind her in a hood and sunglasses, which is understandable given her circumstances.

While he’s standing in line behind the disabled woman, someone surprisingly recognizes him but that won’t stop him from doing what’s right. Her bill comes out to 1,875 pesos, the most out of anyone so far.

When he tells her he’s paying for her, the woman begins to cry from his kind gesture

She can’t believe it, as soon as she realized what was happening tears come to her eyes and she begins crying. This prompts Basel to give her a big hug and tell her:

“Keep your money and stay strong”

The last person is an elderly lady who doesn’t realize Basel already paid for, but when she does her face lights up as she’s filled with joy

Seeing her happiness is exactly why Basel is doing what he’s doing, when she asks him if he’s doing it because he’s a Christian he replies:

“It’s not about religion, It’s about being good. Right? It doesn’t matter if we’re Christians, Muslims, or anything.”

Although the poverty rate has gotten better in the Philippines, they still have a long way to go so Basel’s kind gesture go a long way in a country where it can be hard to come across the money for many. To see more of his kind deeds, check out his YouTube Channel.
