With every Christmas card I write, may your days be merry and bright…

All over the world, trees are being put up with kids itching to decorate, moms and dads are getting ready to go shopping, and Christmas songs are filling the air much to everyone’s delight. Which one’s your favorite?

There’s so many to choose from!

Who could forget “Rudolph, the red nosed reindeer“, “Winter Wonderland“, “Jingle Bells“, and “Jingle Bell Rock“?

Everyone’s got their go to carol. And no one judges when a random person starts signing out of holiday cheer. The best part about these songs is that there are countless versions to choose from!

Here’s “White Christmas” by that awesome mother and son duo.

Jordan Rabjohn and Katherine Hallam are from Sheffield, UK and together, have taken the internet by storm with their incredible singing. And you rarely see a mother and son duo too! Check them out!

Now Jordan actually says his mom is a much better singer than he is. She could very well be.

This cover is actually for Katherine’s Christmas album!

It’s a fairly simple song to sing.

“I’m dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the tree tops glisten
And children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow”

The difference is how this mom and son duo delivered the song.

It was written by Irving Berlin, a Russian born immigrant. Ironically enough, Berlin does not celebrate Christmas because he’s Jewish. In 1928, Irving’s three week old son died on Christmas day. Every year, on December 25, Irving and his wife would visit their son’s grave.

Berlin may have poured his emotions into the song. The man responsible for the song’s unbelievable popularity is Bing Crosby. The original version aired on Dec. 25, 1941. It was bittersweet as Pearl Harbor was attacked just a few weeks before.

This cover is anything but bittersweet.

Jordan and Katherine are both wearing Christmas themed sweaters with a little tree perched atop one speaker. The arrangement is upbeat and joyous, as all Christmases should be. It makes you bop your head!

It’s trademark Jordan with his pop and rock style of singing. Then here comes Katherine with her powerful diva style. Such a beautiful contrast! Even a viewer loves it!

You and your mom singing Christmas songs is what we all need during this time. It makes me feel good. Thank you Keep singing !!!!!!”

Such a happy rendition!

This is perfect while decorating, making hot chocolate, and just having a holly jolly one!

See, as tough as 2020 was, Christmas just makes it better. Christmas makes everything better! People are happy that’s for sure!

“Thank you for this amazing song from you and your Mom. Love you both. Your mom has a voice of an angel. I am so happy now that I saw this. Merry Christmas to you and your family.”

says Debbie.

Other artists like Frank Sinatra, Michael Bolton, Lady Gaga, Eric Clapton have versions of this song. But this one is so new, it’s fresh and could very well be the best rendition! What do you think?
