It’s just the coolest thing when celebrities interact with their fans during a live concert. Lots of singers have done this. Fans get to share the stage with a star and that in itself makes the ticket price worth it.
But it’s even better when a legend does the same. See, these musicians have been performing for decades. They wouldn’t be where they are had it not been for their loyal fans.
Bruce Springsteen is one such artist.
Springsteen saw The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964. It inspired him to buy his first guitar at an appliance store. Later that year, his mom took out a loan and got him another guitar. Bruce immortalized that moment with the song called “The Wish“.
Bruce played in different bands until he caught the attention of critics and talent scouts. The rest is history.
Fast forward to Kansas City.
The man is 67 here. He still plays for his fans and you can see it on his face that he loves every second of it. And yes, Bruce allows certain fans to join him on stage. Like this young lady!
The song is his classic, “Dancing in the dark“. Great song! If you don’t know it, go ahead and listen!
Now that little girl couldn’t have possibly discovered Springsteen’s songs on her own now, could she? Is it possible that she heard the man’s music back home courtesy of mom and dad?

Even Bruce is loving the moment. He turns towards his young fan, stops playing his guitar, and proceeds to dance with her. What a guy! No wonder people still love him to this day!
“Just beautiful! Bruce is The Boss! Great footage…so sweet how the little girl puts her hands on his shoulders to whisper in his ears…touching. LIFE at its best!!!!”
Says a viewer.
But what did she whisper in Bruce’s ear?
The exchange is brief. Bruce nods his head and together with the young lady, gestures to someone in the audience to come up and join them. It’s the girl’s mom! Mom gets up on stage and Bruce gives her a hug. Awesome!
And how selfless and thoughtful of this young lady to ask Bruce if she could have her mom join them. Mom is obviously a huge fan.
And mom is loving it! She goes on dancing with her daughter and Bruce, the smile on her face indescribable. You deserve it, mom! And kudos to you for raising such a wonderful daughter.
A viewer named Dan commented,
“OMG! Do I even need to say it? What an amazing, sweet, beautiful little girl!! She’s in the middle of the thrill of her life and wants to share it with her Mom! That was absolutely awesome!”
Indeed it was. And Bruce invites them up to rock the stage with him even more!
A part of the song’s chorus goes,
“You can’t start a fire without a spark
This gun’s for hire
Even if we’re just dancin’ in the dark”
But mom wasn’t dancing in the dark thanks to her daughter. She’s raising a real woman and it shows. Not to mention the awesome taste in music too. And Bruce is a great guy. He gives them both hugs, cementing an awesome night for both of his fans.
