Pedro Viloria was a 22-year-old employee at McDonald’s when he became a hero in the blink of an eye.

It was just a normal day at work for Pedro, who was working the drive-thru at his local McDonald’s. Eventually, an off-duty police officer came to the drive-thru to grab some quick food for her children.

There was nothing to suggest it was any different than other orders, until it came time to get her food. That’s when her car rolled right past the window without stopping, and her kids were in the back yelling for help.

“Her kids were screaming, ‘Mother, mother, stop it, mother, what are you doing.’ Pedro told WSVN.

The heroic fast-food worker showed his athleticism, leaping straight through the small window and running to their aid.

He looks like some kind of superhero, flying out the drive-thru window with no problem. The whole incident was caught on video. In it, you can see the car slowly roll by, as Pedro figures out what’s going on and makes his move.

With no hesitation at all, Pedro runs to the woman’s car to help. His biggest concern was the kids in the back seat pleading for help, so he went straight to them to ease their little minds.

Luckily, an off-duty fire-rescue officer just happened to be ordering food inside of the McDonald’s, so he also went to help the woman.

“I thought, if these kids lose their mother today, that’s gonna be tragic. If I would have needed to die to save that woman, I would have done it,” said Pedro. He went on to say: “I never panicked at all, I just, my brain was on hero mode.”
