Some people are unaware that they have heroic capabilities. They hide behind normal jobs, moving along with their normal life until a situation forces them to reveal bravery they didn’t know they possessed.

That’s exactly what happened to this fast-food employee when a mother had a medical emergency while getting food for her children.

When he heard her children screaming, he did something incredible to assist them.

Pedro Viloria, a 22-year-old McDonald’s employee, is a true boy-wonder behind the uniform.

For Viloria, it was just another day at work as he was assigned to the drive-thru at his local McDonald’s. That’s when an off-duty Police Officer stopped by the drive-thru to get some fast food for her kids.

There was no indication that it would be a different day until it was time to get her food. That’s when her car rolled right past the window without stopping, and her kids yelled for help from the backseat.

“Her kids were screaming, ‘Mother, mother, stop it! Mother, what are you doing?’ Viloria told Inside Edition.”

The courageous fast-food worker showed his athletic ability by leaping through the small window and running to their aid.

It’s similar to those awesome scenes in superhero movies.

This guy is lightning fast! The entire incident was captured on video, and you can see the car slowly roll by as Viloria realizes what’s going on and decides to make his move.

Without hesitation, Viloria rushes to the woman’s car to assist her.

His main concern was the kids shouting for help in the back seat, so he went straight to them to calm their little minds. Is his reaction time the same as The Flash? Quicksilver? You make the decision.

Fortunately, an off-duty Fire-Rescue Officer was ordering food inside the McDonald’s.

Viloria, the Fire-Rescue Officer, his partner, and another paramedic all rushed to assist the off-duty Police Officer.

The brave citizens came to the rescue. It could have been a lot worse for the woman and her children.

“I thought, if these kids lose their mother today, that’s gonna be tragic. If I would have needed to die to save that woman, I would have done it.” Said Viloria, he went on to say: “I never panicked at all, I just, my brain was on hero mode.”

The woman recovered completely, and Viloria’s heroic actions went viral.

The agile McDonald’s employee deserves recognition for his quick thinking. Who knows what would have happened if he hadn’t intervened. It goes without saying that not everyone would have had his instincts to act.

According to CBS News, McDonald’s released a statement praising Viloria’s actions.

“First and foremost, our thoughts and prayers are with the officer and her family during this difficult time. I think I speak for our McDonald’s family when I say how proud we are of Pedro. He is an excellent employee, so it didn’t surprise me that he took immediate action and jumped through a window to help save this woman. And he was not the only member of the team that played a pivotal role in ensuring she received the medical attention she needed. A second employee, who asked to remain unnamed, assisted with CPR. Their quick thinking and action were everything in that moment.”
