There are still a lot of good people out there, you just need to believe that there are.
We are now living in a world that full of uncertainties. Especially because of the pandemic, we can never really tell if there’s a tomorrow waiting for us.
Sadly, there are lots of other global issues going on right now and there’s no telling when would they end.
The world is getting uglier, yes, but there are still a lot of good things that we should be thankful for. Because despite all the bad events and negativity, there will always be something that will remind us not to give up easily on life’s challenges.
Just take this guy as an example…
He is a prankster and an ‘angel’ at the same time.

He is popularly known as Juan or Juan Gonzalez in real life. He is the man behind the famous YouTube channel called “That Was Epic“. The channel has 5.66 million subscribers and all his videos have racked up over 775,000,000 views since 2014.
He’s done a lot of videos that mostly feature him and some other accomplices. They go around pranking people and putting up the most awkward situations ever that you could imagine.

But behind all the fun and giggles, they are also giving back to the people in a tremendous way. In my own opinion, this video is probably one of their bests.
Helping people, one knock on the door at a time.
This particular video shows Juan knocking on strangers’ doors and offering them to pay a month of their rent. Believe it or not, yes, he did that!
In the video, he goes off knocking at the first house. As soon as the man opens the door, Juan asks him:
“Super random question. I’m so sorry to bother you, I’m just wondering how much you pay for rent here?”
To which the man responds:
“I’m paying $1,200.”
Then Juan immediately takes a bunch of cash from his pocket, counts, and gives the unsuspecting man $1,200 – upfront! It’s definitely something the man would expect to happen next.
What the guy’s about to say next will move you.
“You know I’ve been praying about this. I don’t have rent money for tomorrow.”
I’m betting even Juan was touched by that sudden confession, wouldn’t you agree? He even asks the YouTuber if he’s an angel. From that, you’d know the man was in total disbelief of what just happened.
Knowing the back story of the man will make you realize he deserves the money.
“I’m in the middle of job transition and it’s been tough for me. I prayed this morning, I said Lord, I was paying my rent on time but things happen wrong. The last two months, we moved here four months ago and things went really bad for me when I got here. The company I work for got sold out and we were basically left out in the street literally.”
I’m now thinking if Juan can also see through the right people to help, don’t you think so too?
Of course, some people were skeptical at first.
It’s a usual day and a man would knock on your door asking how much you pay for rent, of course, you’d find it weird. Thankfully, the people he’s chosen were off to accept his kind gesture to help them even if just a month of their rent.
Some of them pay a monthly rent of $900, $1,000, and $1,400. While some own the property and paying the monthly mortgage which Juan also offered to cover. This man is simply amazing from all angles!
The sun always shines behind the dark clouds.
Though this viral video was uploaded back in 2019, it turns out very timely. It’s an eye-opener for everyone, it makes us realize that kindness still exists.
Amid the pandemic, let us not lose hope that one day, we would wake up to a virus-free world. Just hang in there and continue making the most out of life.
