Let’s get real. Who wouldn’t want to look and feel 25 again? Especially as people get closer to 50, they’d love to turn back the hands of time. Well, that’s impossible. So, they do the next best thing…have a makeover done. For one woman, she received the sweetest transformation ever.
Famous stylists
When it comes to hairstylists, women today have some incredible choices. Professionals like Ted Gibson, Jose Eber, and Jen Atkin have been working wonders for years. But due to his creativity and social media fame, Christopher Hopkins, better known as The Makeover Guy, has become the go-to person for women around the country.
Back in time
On his YouTube channel, Hopkins interviews women before and after makeovers. Along with changing his clients’ hair, his team teaches them about makeup. But in one video, that’s been viewed more than 850,000 times, he had the honor of giving his high school sweetheart a makeover.
16 years
It had been that long since Kari and Christopher had seen one another. The reunion alone was touching. But knowing he was about to change her appearance was even more exciting.
Consultation time
After exchanging a hug and a few pleasantries, Christopher began to examine Kari’s hair. It was permed with a brassy blonde color. Even worse, the style was completely out of date, giving her an almost sad appearance.
Coming up with a plan
Christopher discovered that Kari’s hair was quite thin on one side. That’s when she explained her hair had stopped growing. He wanted to do something that would make her hair look a lot fuller to which she agreed.
“We can update you, honey”
Those were Christopher’s words to Kari. She was thrilled with the idea of having a more modern and manageable style. After sharing that he did her hair and makeup for her senior class picture, she chimed in to remind him that he did the same thing for several of their dates.
A beautiful but easy style
Most importantly, Christopher wanted to make sure that Kari had a style she could manage at home. Having seen his work online and knowing him personally, she felt comfortable that he could create the new look she wanted. Recently divorced, she wasn’t feeling good about herself.
The big reveal
After Christopher and his team finished, it was time for the big reveal. He colored her hair a natural blonde, cut it shorter than it was, and added some fresh layers that created a softer and more youthful appearance. And her makeup was impeccable.
An amazing transformation
The difference between her before and after interview was truly unbelievable. In high school, Kari had a lot of guys interested in her and now that she’s single again, she can expect the same. Christopher went above and beyond to make his former girlfriend look and feel as special as she is.

Here’s the coolest part. While everyone else had seen Kari’s transformation, she hadn’t. Handing her a hand mirror, she was about to see the change for the first time. And when she looked at herself, she couldn’t believe what she saw. There she was, a stunning bombshell.
