Rob looks like he could be a homeless man the moment you hit play. Either that or one of those 70s-80s southern rockers.
But no, he was actually growing his hair and beard out since he was an extra for a movie his church was producing.

He wasn’t Jesus but hey, cool stuff.
And while people admired his dedication, including his family, they were still looking forward to the day he got rid of his Chewbacca look.
Rob even turns his hide side to side to show just how long his hair was, which can be pulled into a bun if he so desired.
The day has come to get rid of the carpet on his head.
Kellie is her name and she’s taking on the job of transforming Rob. She knows what she’s doing too.
Now men do care about their grooming and appearance (most of them do) but they don’t exactly take to social media to share their trip to the barber unlike women do.
So in a way, it’s fascinating to see a guy document this moment.

It’s not easy being a barber or stylist since every cut has to be measured right to make the whole head look good.
One wrong measurement and you ruin the look.
The cutting is sped up but you can see how meticulous and precise Kellie is with her job.
She pulls the top part into a bun so she can shave off and cut the sides first, and soon those long grey locks are falling to the floor.
Kellie cleans up Rob from the sides to the back, combing and cutting as she goes along and he looks so much better already.
Rob is all smiles and you can tell they’re chatting as they go along.
She gets started on his beard, hitting the sides from the bottom of Rob’s ears down to his cheeks.
It’s just wild how much facial hair can change a man’s face.
Kellie shaves and cleans him up really well and soon, Rob looks like he’s lost fifteen years or so.
She says it’s a bit of a Brad Pitt style, but what do you say?
It is a versatile look after all!
That’s a really clean shave too, perhaps the best he’s ever had, he says.
Rob makes his way back home and his two little girls are already giggling at the sight of him.
Kids are so honest and charming and his girls are the best part of this video.
