You can try to train and teach small children to behave as much as you want but sometimes, it just doesn’t work. If a child has a mind of their own, it’s going to come out and show. You can’t hide it from the world so instead, you should just praise them for their special uniqueness.
Last year, a video of a pre-school graduation ceremony performance surfaced on the internet and it ended up making everyone’s day. It was that cute.
The children were meant to put on a performance for all of the parents and they did, except one little girl, Lily, seemed to have a mind of her own.
They were going along with the basic choreography they learned and they all seemed super happy to be there. This girl was extra happy and it showed.
When the beat in the song kicked in, all of her fellow classmates continued to stand still. 5-year-old Lily, on the other hand, refused to stand still. She was bopping from left to right, bouncing up and down, and clearly just having the best time of her life.
For some of the children, this was simply a required performance for the school. For this girl, it was a party.
Lily didn’t care who was watching — she was dancing like no one was watching at all. This little girl possessed the confidence of a fully grown popstar… And maybe that’s because she will grow up to be a pop star.
A star was born. She was shining so bright among all of the other children!
It seemed as though she couldn’t stay still for a single second but it was okay, because it made for a ridiculously entertaining performance. In the clip, you can hear all of the parents laughing their heads off. It’s impossible to not notice this hilarious child!
Lily is so quirky, even her grandmother can’t stop laughing.
Toward the end of the incredibly hilarious performance, the little girl switches up her dance moves. They grow to be even more intense and hilarious, even though that may be hard to believe.
Lily bends over and basically starts screaming — or at least, she looks like she is screaming. She really starts to put her all into this performance. You can really tell she is putting so much passion into every move and lyric.
The hilarious clip went viral since it was uploaded last year, reaching almost three million views and thousands of comments that share nothing but great feedback.
“Jamming out while the girl next to her is having a total nervous breakdown,” one person noticed hilariously.
“I seriously hope when this little girl gets married they play this at her wedding reception and she’s dancing with her bridesmaids to this with it playing on a wall behind them,” another person commented.

We’re glad that this video continues to bring people joy, even a year later. It really is the laugh we all need.
