Sometimes all a person needs is a little change to feel more alive and better about themselves. Fortunately, there are stylists like The Makeover Guy who are masters at what they do – helping transform women on the outside, as well as in.
65-year-old Leigh from Des Moines, Iowa had reached the point where she too was ready for a new look. However, she wasn’t seeking just a simple haircut or different lipstick color… No, she wanted it to be a “dramatic” change!
Leigh walked into Christopher’s Minneapolis salon looking like the stereotypical “grandmother.” You know, the kind who wears aprons and bakes treats all day?
While Leigh was undoubtedly sweet as pie, she also had an inner-vibrancy that wanted to scream out. She admitted she wasn’t very happy with her hair, which was close to shoulder length and a natural white.
During her interview, the retiree was asked what she feared most in regards to the makeover. Leigh’s response was one you don’t hear from every client.
She said:
“It would be ‘not dramatic and exciting’ because I’ve told all my friends about it.”
There are some women that visit Christopher Hopkins ready for a bold haircut or color change (he’s made some big chops in his days).
Yet, there are plenty of others that go in fearful of doing anything drastic.

In 2008, he released the book, Staging Your Comeback, A Complete Beauty Revival for Women Over 45, which became a best-seller.
Christopher also inspires people through his online videos that are well-known for warming hearts and souls. He has more than 188,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel alone.
Leigh’s stunning results have viewers cheering from their computer screens. That’s because she looks years younger and like a hot tamale (where did granny go?).
After her makeover, Leigh has a fierce pixie hairstyle and is completely glammed up. She even has false eyelashes that take her eyes to the next level! But most importantly, she seems even more vibrant and confident with all the changes (and happy too).
A viewer named Carole commented on YouTube:
“Oh my goodness what a transformation! She looks so so much younger! She came alive through the process. Love this makeover! All her friends are going to come see you!”
A woman named Judy addressed The Makeover Guy in her comment. She wrote:
